why do people feel the need to mod a game that is perfectly simple and use things such as clicker.... it just seems like a childish thing to do, only to try and better your self by using a perfectly legal, but still morally and ethically unfair advantage....

This really isn't my place, but I"m between turns of getting my arse handed to me in a wool sack so I'll reply.

A couple of things.

I think I get what you're on about. Go to plugins and get your own or stay out of freestyle... or not. No biggy.

Otherwise. Take a nap. Cut back on the coffee. Or not.

Cheers. :)

Edit: I should have added... but didn't, cause I was too interested in watching the brutal end of the game I was in... cause I'm an idiot... and I've come to the conclusion that I suck at this game...that I thought I would post in a friendly way before you received the everlasting love of the board. No. No need to thank me. My good deed is reward enough...

Play only sequential and it will never bother you again. :D

It's immoral and and unethical to sleep with your best friends girlfriend-- not using clickies on an online game. Morally speaking....

Well.... suppose it's also unethical not to sleep with her if the opportunity presents itself.

Yah, but if a chap was sleeping with his best friend's girlfriend (and I mean really...who hasn't?) and used clickies on CC would that make him just that little bit more immoral? For example, if I've been hiding the sausage in a chap's tart but say "Hey! I abhore the use of clickies on CC!" might he find a silver lining in my otherwise dastardly personality?

Or would I find myself screaming "I don't use clickies!!! I don't use clickies!!!" repeatedly like some voodoo mantra as he took to my skull with a bat?

Personally, I think clickies are somewhere there on the scale of immorality..behind dipping the wick in a chap's wife to be sure, but possibly ahead of stealing a man's last wine gum, taking lunch money off of the smelly kid at school and trying to get Foxglove to cyber with them of an evening (cough cough) ;)

Well, some of those scripts are very useful and add to the game, personally i'd like to see a lot of them integrated into the site, it would certainly eliminate this sort of griping.....

However, it would slow the site down something chronic, as there are users(like me) who still run a pre-millennium shit heap of a PC, I would not be pleased if I lagged 5 or more minutes between individual moves during the course of my turn. It would preclude me from playing speed games altogether, so the decision is left up to the individual as to whether or not to include these 'addons' in their CC gaming experience. This is the best course of action for the time being.

Lack is striving to add more of the addon/plugins as game-wide features for everyone. Some of those that I know are being considered: clickable-maps (optional setting), more game data (territory counts, more detailed game log), and maybe one or two others...that now escape me.

Its a game. People will use whatever advantage they can. Play Sequential and it won't matter so much. Or, play only with friend who you know don't use clickies.

It really pisses me off that professional bicyclists can afford expensive bikes made from lighter sturdier medals than mine. Why do they buy them. Why do professional golfers by clubs that I can't afford. Why don't foot ball players wash their own jerseys, paying someone to wash them gives them an unfair advantage because that gives them more practice time.

All of this is unfair and immoral. I can't understand why someone who races bicycles would want a faster bike. Why can't race car drivers just drive pintos. What, they can't win with a pinto.

Hmmmm... but perhaps it's morally shady to waste the time and energy doing something for yourself that a script/program/hotel concierge can do faster and easier (and let's be honest here, probably better)!

Good luck with that.
