Just curious about how many active games at one time is the most ever on CC.

As I head to 300 active games due to my inability to say no to people asking me to join and myself joining tourneys, I wonder how many active games is the most you have ever had at one time.

My current record is 258 active at one time. I barely can keep up.

That is the record I believe, I had around 190 to 200 a few different times and had to stay by my computer a vast majority of the time for a few days, only being able to take 30 minute breaks here and there until all were caught up, but it took me like almost 8 hours to take all my turns before I could go to bed, lol, then I said, never again.

Well I am only taking one turn per game for the most part in a 24 hour period. I have to believe this is not the record though. Mightor and b00060 I have seen to play a ton of active games as well. I do have to play a lot and my slow PC does not help the cause.

although I just did a check and they are both in the 70's

Nowhere near your record Highlander, but a couple of weeks ago I had 135. I've let that come down to about 90 now as I've had a couple more tournaments starting. It would take a couple of hours to take the turns that had built up overnight, yet there were times during the day where I was still bored and ended up resorting to the Doodle Speed Assassins...

At one time I had about 275 going and almost all of them were tourny games. A couple of the tourneys would start about 40 at a time. That many games at once takes the fun out of playing.

I generally max out at around 90, and mass join when it drops to 40/45. Amazingly, I only have 4 games atm because I've got a summer job which means I have much less time for playing.

You folks and your high number of games---it amazes me! Pretty sure the most I ever had active was 20...

But I am curious what upper limit has been for active games---and playing them without missing turns.

180 was my highest...it was ridic and i hated it
now i rarely venture out past 50...

i had 23 games going and that was difficult i could never imagine playing over 200 games!!!!

When I got down to 60 I was happy

Nowhere near 300, but I had about 175 when the Every Single Setting Tournament started and dropped 90 games on me.

During that time, I required an account sitter, and Wacicha generously offered to do it, so I think for a long weekend he had my 175 plus however many he was keeping at the time.

But yeah, with the 100 plus, I would get up in the morning, move as many games as I could before work, go to work, try to move a few at lunch, come home, spend 1 hour moving some, take a break and spend a few more hours moving the rest, get up, repeat. I got to the point where I was just deploying some turns just to get them in without missing.

The interesting thing is though, when these games started winding down was when I hit my high watermark for points.

I think the most I ever had going was about 45 - 50. I've backed way down now. I normally play 3 - 4 game at a time. No stress, no worries!

I've crossed the 100-line a couple of times, and I don't think I'll be doing it again. It was simply too many. Took too much time to take all the turns, and I couldn't exactly get too tactically involved in each and every one. Right now I've only got 8, which must be the least I've had in months, though it's quite a while since I last filled up my waiting games with public 2.1 Quads. I'm about to start the part of my studies where I'm actually a teacher for 7 weeks, so I can't see that I'll have the time to go above 20-30 for a few months.

I've also already lost Brigadier, so there's no pressure to start lots of 2.1 Quads just because that's where I earn the most points, so I can retain the rank.

The hat is prettier, anyway.

I peaked at about 170 during the Map Blaster tournament.

It was nuts.

I prefer between 30-50.

Over 100 is way too much, though during that Map Blaster tournament my rank climbed to the highest it has ever been.

Not sure if I've been over 100... but definitely in the 90s... I like to huddle around 50-60...

169 right now. I can handle 100, but this many is a little too high, especially on weekends. A lot of them are team games which are only about once every two or three days. During map blaster I hit 250 and it was driving me insane. Never again.

i usualy hover around 50

250 games at once, wasnt enough to play an entire day, so joined speed games during these as well. and played the other 250 (mostly 1vs1) as RT...Will never do it again. Well until Christmas break

I had 200 at one point, but that was as high as I ever went, and never really touched that high again.

so this is why your games go so slow in my tournament

i had around 300 at one time when i first got premium

now i am mainly just a speed player so im at 0 right now

Looks like he has the lead. Don't forget people who point dump. There have been people with over 100 games who were just missing turns to point dump. If there is going to be a top 5, and we know someone *cough* blitz will make a list, then people with less than 99 or 98% turns taken shouldn't be counted.

I've only gotten slightly over 60 myself, and that was too much.
