Am I getting paraniod?

I've been here for a while now and enjoying every game. But once in a while I get suspicious about other players and how they seem do dominate the game so fast. I'm in a game with another player and decided to just check all his games, trust me I don't usually do this this. I noticed that a lot of his games have new players who get booted for missing turns, and when I look at the game logs this player, from the start of the game he rarely attacks the booted player, or if he does it's very minor. Like he knows. I checked my own personal log of 214 games and found I had roughly 1 in 10 games with a new player, and I won 1 of the 20. I then randomly checked other players and noticed I was even high compared to them of new players per game, one was 1 in 19 games, another 1 in 34 games. Now the player I'm speaking of has 19 games of 64 played which is more then 1 in 3 games, of those 19 games with new players he has won 6, and has ongoing games with the same thing happening. Am I getting paranoid or does it seem strange to anyone else?

Some players deliberately target games with new players and start games which only new players are likely to join in order to point farm those who have little idea how to play or who will take one turn and deadbeat. Technically it's not against the rules but its not cricket either.

Actually, the systematic targeting of new recruits is against the rules.
