Guys i just thought of a new challenge that JR24 and Blitz could compete for,

simply i was wandering if there is any member of the site, that has a + map rank for every single map?

this would be very interesting to see the top 10 and im sure Blitz will make this a thread soon

Neither, nor myself, would be able to achieve that goal very soon.

Usually someone has a map that they are drastically lacking points on.

I know JR has one or two. Blitz probably has one or two, and I have lost more on doodle than anyone on CC I think

The points have to go somewhere, and usually they tend to get lost on the same maps.

Did you want to get a leaderboard going to see who's the closest? Maybe say Positives minus Negatives...and minus the incomplete maps too (otherwise people who haven't played a lot of maps could end up with a high score)...

For example I have 57 Positives and 78 Negatives, and 5 Incomplete.

So my score is 57 - (78+5) = -26...shouldn't be hard to beat!

I suppose it would be easy to do for someone just starting out, but for someone that has played a lot, its almost guaranteed theve lost a lot on a map or two. Im kind of curious if its even possible really...Hmm...be interested to see some explanations here...I could figure it out...but have to run...interesting Idea...

i forgot how many points you have lost on that map. haha. 2871 to be exact. i am at 2030. haha.

It's definitely possible to do this, but I doubt anyone has currently done it! It would be quite hard to do without point dumping, relatively easy I think (though illegal) if you dumped points on the maps that are very positive and then played the negative maps with a low rank.

Actually, you wouldnt necessarily have to break the rules to do it...though it would take longer. You could play settings that were sure to result in a loss of points even while trying to win, and play settings on the other maps, that gave you a much better shot at winning.

Essentially, play triples games on the ones you want to win on, and play 8 player games on the ones you have plenty of points on.

Even if you play the 8 player games to win, you are less likely to win points on those, especially if the point spread is unfavorable.

Its not point dumping, if you are just playing games, and playing to win. Its only dumping, if you are throwing games to lose the points.

In any case, it would take some time for me to gain back the thousands of points ive lost on doodle. But probably could win on the rest of the maps easy enough. By balancing game choice to include enough assassin doodles, in which you almost cant possibly win points on in the long run, it could be done without breaking the rules...but it sure wouldnt be worth it

I think it would be well worth having a positive map rank on every map...quite the achievement

Otherwise the higher you come the lower you will fall, and the harder it is to compensate

the key would be to win against higher ranks. In that way, you could lose more games, but still win more points.
