HELP! *reserved*

Hi guys, I created a game 5696916. And there is one slot left. Usually it says "empty" except this time it says "reserved". What does that mean? I didn't reserve it for anyone, I just want someone to join so we can start!!!

It means one of the other two players reserved the spot for some one else. If you want to play just drop the game and start another

Above comment is correct. The person its reserved for will reserve, or time will run out and others will be able to join. Don't worry, the game will start.

FYI - If you join a game, the first empty slot says "invite player" or something like that, if you click that you can invite people, and their spot will be reserved. It's probably not common to join a singles game someone else made and reserve a spot for someone. On the other hand, if you join a dubs, against a team, it makes sense to invite a partner, so you don't get stuck with a random partner.

so if it's a singles game, and someone is reserving the last spot for a specific player, shouldn't i be worried that there is SECRET DIPLOMACY going on? why does this feature exist for singles games.

Well, it might be secret diplomacy, but it also might simply be someone wanting to play a game with a "familiar face" at the table. Watch the progress of the game. If there is other evidence of secret diplomacy, then this thread will be supporting evidence when you post your complaint to Cheating & Abuse.

By the way, freemium members can't seem to reserve spots for people.

I've used the invite feature in singles to invite people I enjoy playing with. If you know someone who's a great opponent (good strategy, balanced play, talks in the chat, level headed), wouldn't you want to play them again?

That being said, I can see people using this for nefarious purposes, but c'mon it's just a game. If there's cheating it'll be obvious.
