I had some text on top of my inbox list today that said something like "a message has been removed due to privacy filters" (I don't remember the exact text) - but I have no rules or filters defined. What's up with that?

sure? i never take the time to delete messages, so my inbox is always full, but i have never seen such a message

set your box up to not delete messages unless you do so. my box is always full with a slew of messges waiting. when you have it set so it never deletes, you have to delete messages within your box manually to allow the new messages to be read... or you could create a new folder to increase the amount of PM's you can receive...-0

it says it right above the list of messages..

tisha, it only says that if you set your box to do that... otherwise, it deletes new messages that come in, if your box is full...-0

That makes sense, but it's strange - like Seul, i almost never delete messages so my inbox is always full, but I definitely don't always see this message.

no, it only makes sense if you have your box set to do so. you don't have your box set up to never delete messages, so you get the messages have been deleted deal... sigh... i give up... just go change your inbox settings...-0

p.s.-swapped pm's with foxy, and we have it all straight... whew...

I don't have my messages set to be sent anywhere.. I have never messed with that stuff. It says that at default...

sigh... yes, yes, yes... however, foxglove has it resolved... pretty much she didn't want the messages to be deleted, so i told her how to set her box so they hold them and you have to delete messages to release the new ones, if your box is full... whew...-0

Oh Owen of the many messages: the Overflow folder is working splendidly. But now...what happens when the Overflow folder reaches 50?

have you set your folders to not allow messages to be deleted until you mark and delete them?-0

you can make up to 4 inboxes with 50 messages each. I have 1 for newest mail, 1 for clan, 1 for admin, and 1 for old mail
