Secret Alliances

Recently I have been getting singled out as having secret alliance's. I very seldom make alliances. I prefer to play the game on my own. I will often not attack a border bonus if I feel it is to my advantage to allow it to continue. I don't pm people on the side to form alliances. I usually tend not to look at the log until well thru the game. It drives me nuts to have people complain about army size, not breaking a bonus, etc. I usually reply that there is no alliance and to just play the game. I don't recall any rule saying I need to go after the main player or biggest army just because the others choose to do so. Am I doing ,something wrong? It's a game. We all have different styles of play. Have fun. Do I need to make a post at begining of game that says Hi to all, I make no alliances and have a good game?

People in nature tend to be suspicious of any number of things---especially in competitive situations with multiple opponents. If you are clean of any Secret Alliances, just kindly inform them that you don't have any---perhaps explain the situation as you saw it---why you assaulted/conquered a region over another.

Communication is always a key to resolving issues between users---that and kindness.
