Missing turns

Hi . . .
This is just a basic observation . . .
I've seen a lot of players that seem to purposely miss 2 turns then play their 3rd turn using the "bonus" retained from the 2 missed turns . . .

I don't understand why when someone misses their turns - making other people wait 24 hours each time to continue the game - are then allowed to keep their missed troop bonuses . . .

If you miss your turn you should forfeit your bonus . . .

Missing 2 turns - dropping a chunk of armies on the board - Missing 2 more turns - dropping another chunk makes no sense at all . . .

Current rules state that if you miss "3 turns in a row" you get kicked from the game . . .

It should be if you miss "3 turns in 1 game" you get kicked . . .
Also if you miss a turn you don't receive "retained troops" from the missed turn

Just my opinion

Sorry . . .
I personally keep my religious beliefs to myself unless asked directly . . .
At which point I will talk to that person directly and in private . . .

Since my origial post was about the game and had nothing to do with anyones "religious beliefs" I would appreciate it if you'd focus your comments to the original topic . . .

Please feel free to open another entire forum dedicated to all that you'd like to discuss

i totally agreed with this statement after i read it a few times and could understand it. afterall, the opening page of the site reads this very clearly:
CC wrote:Designed for the casual gamer, playing Conquer Club is not a time consuming process. You can take your turn in 5 minutes with your morning cup of coffee or in between classes.

missed turns occur when real life gets in the way. some members have wifes, kids, their own businesses to run, and turns are not that important. many members travel, everyone takes a vacation from time to time... in the grand scheme of things, life in general, a missed turn is not that big of a deal. this is a site for casual gamers, so missed turns will occur...-DDB

Get this into your minds. You are not being rewarded. You are being reimbursed for a loss—yes, if your opponents aren't half-wits, a missed turn is a loss.

7 troops, huge difference in the scenario you reference

P.S. Like I said, if your opponents aren't halfwits in esc games (can't say the same for you…), they'll realize you're a kill with 5 cards who isn't going to attack or drop anymore. Therefore, you're an easier kill and likely to be targeted MORE because they think you're gone, not less.

experienced players attack players that miss turns to eliminate any bonuses or terit advantage they may have held when their turn should have begun. a missed turn is not an advantage, not if you are playing against people that know what they are doing...-0

Lets say that the game is 1v1 freestyle casual doodle no spoils...

It's my turn and I just secured the Africa bonus. My opponent now purposefully misses his turn, then takes his turn, breaks my bonus and drops his deferred troops on the territory that he just broke, making it harder for me to get my bonus back.

If that's not a reward for missing a turn then I don't know what is.

Since I am describing a hypothetical situation you tell me.

Once lack tweaks the double turn rule to block the last played and or missed turn this will be a non factor.

Missing a turn in 1 vs 1 is a good way to die quickly, especially on a small map like that. OK, he has the opportunity to break you, but in order to do that he'd have to have enough troops from only his initial deployment, as you get the deferred troops after you finish attacking. The fact that it's freestyle makes zero difference, you get to move again after half the time elapses. So, he has a much decreased chance of breaking you - after all, you deploy your initial troops plus bonus.

I hope you try this tactic against me sometime
