Do you rate people now?

I am guessing the majority will pick either c or d.

I used to ALWAYS.. every single person.
Now... I only rate games I win and give only all 5's (or leave blank if its a jerk).

It's just too much of a pain to go into the "games finished" screen, find those who I either have never rated or (more trouble yet) those I might have rated before using now-invalid criteria. The criteria just don't mean anything because they are used too inconsistantly.

I picked "c", though d is somewhat true also.

I also nowdays only rate people that I would give either 5s to or 1s to the person. I got tired of answering 5 PMs a day about why I gave people a 3 star rating for not doing anything special, not saying stuff in chat etc.

I only rate the people who I think are not represented accurately by their current rating.

Unfortunately, this means the poll is now reset.

Previous total was 8 for "a" and 8 for "c", with 1-2 each for others.

I rated every player I possibly could since the new feedback system went into effect. 1st on that list too

There is such a fine line to this...



One must carefully balance the intent of the other players,
With the actual results of the game...


I have found that to strike that perfect balance between being fair,
and selecting an appropriate rating... is found by not rating at all...

Which is why I have not rated a single player since the new ranking system went into place...

Kinda crazy that i've got a 5.0 rating myself... lol

Not really. I don't really care enough to rate someone and I feel like one out of many ratings won't really make an effect so I ain't ratin' nobody!

I usually do because it's interesting to see how wrong I can be about people after I played them for more than one game, for better or worse.

is there a star for someone listening to game chat that was left for somebody else?

I stopped rating people when I got Gold for Ratings.

I now only rate if I feel really strongly about the person...which I know I will be rating some people soon...

Same here.
Another reason why I rate is so I can look back and see how many different people I've played (kinda wierd, I know)

It's the first thing I do when I log on in the morning.

I don't like having those red letters on the "My Games" page... yes, I'm anal retentive like that.

I abstain from rating as a CC Admin. However, I would probably rate users at a relatively high number if I didn't abstain. I'm not sure if I would rate everyone always...but I think I'd rate a large number of my opponents.
