Modding first game

I would love some help with balancing my first game, it will be a 12 player game, that I hope isn't to crazy, and probably needs a bit of balancing but am not to sure how it should be done since I haven't played in a "standard game" (all of them have been a bit crazy in set-up, being one of Fir's, Memebase, and Stool pigeon)

I will also need some help figuring out how to do the order for night actions.

If anyone is interested please let me know.

SafariGuy5 is very good on giving feedback on balancing your games. If you are unsure how to do night actions, I suggest looking for a co-moderator so they can double check your work to make sure everything executed properly. It's not too difficult once you understand "the order" that actions have to occur.

Edit:

The order that I have used before is:
a) roleblocking the bus driver
b) bus driving
c) roleblocking
d) most powers (investigations, protections etc)
e) recruitments
f) kills

I think recruitments and kills could be swapped in my opinion, I think it depends on moderator preference. Example

Player A is cult and would like to Recruit Player B
If Player A is killed in the same night, does the recruitment still work or no?

In this situation it would, but if you don't want it to be like that, then swap them so recruiting comes last. It looks like you were looking for a standard game anyway, so I doubt you have to worry about it.

I'd be happy to take a look at the setup, but as usual, we usually suggest new mods run a C9 game first to get a feel for how modding works.

However, if you have a nice balanced setup, I'd sign off you running it no problem.

A lot of my first games modding were quite basic, and they still turned out pretty fun, I think because I tried to develop a story for each. I think at least one breakdown was:

Mason
Mason
Doctor
Cop
Miller
Sometimes a Nurse / Vigilante / unique role of my creation or just another Townie
Townie
Townie
Townie

Mafia
Mafia
Mafia Godfather / Roleblocker

That looks like a sweet set-up for a simple game, Andy :)
