@Wisse - You can never predict what roles will be in mafia games, but the general rule of thumb is at least 1 SK, 3 mafia members, 1 (or 2) cops, a doctor, and 3 masons (townies who can talk to each other at night). Anything beyond that is up to the game mod and is unpredictible.

and behind that they are like townies?
and how will the night chat be? the others can't understand that?? or how?

Let's say I'm the cop and I think you're mafia. I would tell the game mod that I want to investigate you and I then get a report on rather your innocent or guilty. If you appear innocent, I know you're a townie and i can protect you if you get stuck in a hairy situation. If you are a mafia member however, I can tell the town to vote for you. They may not believe me, but I would know the truth.

For night talk, let's say that we are both masons. While we have no special powers, we are able to communicate privately at anytime. We can use private messaging, instant messenger such as msn or yahoo, call each other on the phone or even drive to each other's house and talk face to face. (Yes, I did exagerate a bit) Point is, you can talk privately with the other masons.

The godfather is normally immune to cop investigations so he would appear as a townie.

Now, if you're a regular mafia member, and you are investigated, the cop will know that you are in the mafia. One way or the other, you'll be dead very soon. If people believe the cop, you'll die that round. If people don't believe the cop and lynch the cop, you'll be dead the next round unless you're killed during the middle of the night.

One game I've seen, had a mafia member that could betray the mafia and turn into a normal townie. Shortest game I've ever played, but it adds an interesting twist.
