In a lost age, the world is divided into four nations: the Water Tribes, the Earth Kingdom, the Fire Nation, and the Air Nomads. Within each nation, there is a remarkable order of men and women called the "benders" who can learn to harness their inborn talent and manipulate their native element. Bending is a powerful form combining martial art and elemental magic. In each generation, only one bender is solely capable of controlling all four elements. That bender is the Avatar. The Avatar is the spirit of the world manifests in human form. When the Avatar dies, it reincarnates into the next nation in the cycle. Starting with the mastery of his or her native element, the Avatar learns to bend all four elements. Throughout the ages, the countless incarnations of the Avatar have served to keep the four nations in harmony. Then, the firebenders attacked. Just as the world needed the Avatar the most, he mysteriously vanished. A hundred years later, the Fire Nation is near final victory in its ruthless war of world domination. The Air Nomads were destroyed, the Air Temples ravished, and all airbender monks eradicated. The Water Tribes were raided and driven to the brink of extinction. The Earth Kingdom remains and fights a hopeless war against the Fire Nation. Many believe the Avatar was never reborn into the Air Nomads and the cycle is broken. In the desolated South Pole, a lone Water tribe struggles to survive. It is here that the village's last remaining waterbender Katara and her warrior brother Sokka rescue a strange 12-year-old boy named Aang who has been suspended in hibernation in an iceberg. The Water tribe soon discovers that Aang is not only an Airbender--the extinct race no one has seen in a century--but also the long lost Avatar. Now Katara and Sokka must safeguard the child Avatar in his journey to master all four elements and save the world from the Fire Nation.Game features: - 20 players

Townie role PM: If Foaming Mouth Guy was in this game, his role PM would've looked exactly like this:
Sample role wrote:You are
Foaming Mouth Guy (Townie).
Look up ahead, is it a drooling baby? Is it a mad dog?! No, it's Foaming Mouth Guy! Whenever the Avatar visits your village on Kyoshi Island, your enthousiasm becomes just a little too much for your body to handle. Whatever the village people think of you, you're definitely the Avatar's greatest fan and you're not going to let the Fire Nation get him down.
You have no action at night.
You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.
There is at least one Townie in this game.

Official rules:
1. Votes and unvotes must be in bold in order to be counted. Unvoting before casting a new vote is not necessary, but a good habit nonetheless.
2. Lynches always require a majority of votes (I.E. This means 4 votes are required for a lynch when 6 people are still alive). After a lynch has been reached, votes or unvotes are no longer counted.
3. You may vote No Lynch. If a majority votes No Lynch, the day will end without a lynch.
4. If days take too long, the mod may impose a deadline. If no majority of votes has been reached by the deadline, whoever has most votes at that time will be lynched. In case of a tie or in case No Lynch has most votes, the day will end without a lynch.
5. After your death scene has been posted, you may no longer post. If you can't resist the urge, you may post exactly one very short post saying nothing more than "bah, go [your faction]".
6. You're not allowed to quote personal messages from me. Communication with the mod is not to be used as part of the gameplay.
7. You're not allowed to edit or delete your posts.
8. Do not use fonts smaller than normal or in light colours. Also, do not hide messages in the post subject or links in your post.
9. It's forbidden to discuss the game outside of the thread, unless specifically stated by your role.
10. If a situation arises where these rules are ambiguous or incomplete in any way, whatever the mod says will go. If you have any questions or comments, please PM the mod rather than posting it in the game thread.

Roles will now be sent out. Please don't clutter the game thread with anything other than your confirm. (Feel free to chitchat on about voice dubs in the sign-up thread

)
I will announce the start of day 1 when enough people have confirmed. Don't start playing until that time.

Oops. Copy-pasting ftw? Good thing
I am allowed to edit in this game.

I'm glad at least one person doesn't think this game took ridiculously long to get started!
We're only still waiting for cmckinney and jayfin3, who haven't opened their PM yet. Enough people have confirmed for day 1 to get started. Hang on while I write a nice scene for it.

"The Boy in the Iceberg"
It's been almost a month since that day. The cold wind on Aang's skin has a similar feel to the wind back then. The first thing Aang remembers seeing when he was freed from the ice was the face of an angel. That angel introduced herself as Katara and turned out to be a Waterbender from the Southern Water Tribe. Together with her brother Sokka, the three of them quickly became best of friends. The more Aang thinks about them, the lonelier he gets. After an attack by a large formation of Fire Nation soldiers, they three of them became seperated. He's even lost track of his trusted Air Bison, Appa. He can only hope they're all unharmed and safe from danger.
Aang and his friends were traveling towards the North Pole when they got seperated, so that's where he's decided to go. With some luck, the others will have had the same idea and they could meet up again there. Little did Aang know that the Fire Nation - not yet aware the Avatar had returned - was also heading for the North Pole, to finally eradicate the entire race of Waterbenders...
Day one starts now! With 20 of you alive, it takes 11 votes to lynch someone.
