A more democratic sports trivia thread [rules page one]

This will run just like the movie quotes thread. I'll start with a question, and whoever answers that question correctly then gets to post their own question, and so forth. Linejumpers will be subject to cruel and unusual punishment.

If no one gets the answer in, say, 12 hours (or if other people are waaaay off), the questioner should provide a clue.

If it's your question, and you let the thread slip off the first page, then you shall be roundly booed and beaten with sticks.

NOTE: use of google and wikipedia and other such research devices are not allowed (obviously)

ALSO NOTE: This is a SPORTS trivia thread, which seems blindly obvious given the title but which I have been told needs to be further elucidated. The following are not real sports: poker, professional wrestling, figure skating, bass fishing, lacrosse, rock-paper-scissors, competitive eating, darts, and drinking games (this list may be added to at my discretion)

Anyway, let's get things started:

Which four-sport (MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL) city is currently in the longest championship drought? (for extra credit, what was the most recent championship won by a team from that city, and what was the most recent championship game/series appearance by a team from such?)

Nope. The Stars won the Stanley Cup in '98 (or maybe '99, all I remember is being furious at the Brett-Hull-in-the-crease controversy), which is pretty recent by sports reckoning. Plus there were all those 90's Cowboys teams.

You can when you get my question right.

There are several cities with longer droughts than dallas.

Off the top of my head, I'm going with the Mistake by the Lake, Cleveland. And the most recent appearance would be the World Series they lost to Florida back in... '98 was it? '96? Dunno.

Cleveland doesn't count since they don't have a hockey team

It's gotta be Philly, last win for the Sixers 1983, last Championship appearance by the Eagles 2004

How many active players in the MLB have 400 or more Home Runs?

I can think of six (bonds, sheffield, a-rod, griffey, piazza, frank thomas) that I'm reasonably confident have gotten to 400. There's probably a couple more that I haven't thought of, but I figured I'd take a stab.

EDIT: make that seven. I forgot that the rangers signed sosa, so he's still technically an active player.
