I don't know what movie it's from though.

It was filmed in the 70's but the actual story is set towards the end of the American Civil War.

Yep they are about to chop his leg off without his knowledge/consent. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorened!

If you haven't seen The Beguiled folks, you really should. For me at least it's finer than all Eastwood's later stuff, and shows the guy could actually act.
