Israel and old city of Jerusalem

my friend (Kozar) and i, would like to suggest 2 maps.
i hope this is the right place to start.
1. Old city of Jerusalem.
i think this map will touch everyone hearts, the Christian, the Muslim, Armenian and of course the Jewish.
the regions (bonus area) will be the different quarters in the old city.
the territories will be the holy places inside the quaters. e.g. for Christian: Via doloroza, DORMITION SANCTA MARIA.. and other 8 churchs in the city.

2. Israel map
much more complicated map, but describe the different layers and complexity of israel.
the regions (bonus area) will be the basic areas in Israel. e.g Golan hights, Israeli coastal plain, Galili area. south...
in each region there will be territories that will be one of 5 subjects. see the subject below.
military: like nuclear plant, the Mossad HQ, border posts...
finance:the stock market, silicon valley..
holy territories for Christian all around israel (e.g. Nazareth, Jesus boat at the Galili lake, and some churchs.)
holy territories for Muslim all around israel & holy territories for Jewish
gaining control on a subject like military, finance, a religion, give you bonus. regardless any region bonus

if you approve any of the map we will start planning the details.

thank you,
Kozar and Gefmos
p.s i hope one day you will have a game server in Israel since the lag is huge (~10sec for a move, cant play fs)

I dunno about the Israel map... what you're proposing seems a tad complex.

But the Old City sounds great. I would love to play that map!

And you don't really need approval, just go for it and people will support you.

Don't worry about the XML, just draw the map first.

The map can be jpg or png, maybe some other formats work as well.

Of course it's needed to break into territories. How else could you play the map?

What gray icon?

You post the map on the forum, then you get feedback, update the map several hundred times until everyone are satisfied, including the moderators, who will give you stamps according to your success, and if everything goes well your map goes into beta testing and then finally into play.
