Conquer Club Neighborhood[Updated for Teya Pg.3] [Abandoned]

Well, I finally decided to try and make a map. I have two versions right now. One with 129 territories and one with 86. Nothing is really set in stone at this point, it's just a sketch. Should I continue or not?

exactly, some territories are unecesary, and it could be changed to conquerclub city and have each continent me a neighborhood....

Yup making it a city might be a good idea.
If you decide to keep it CC-neighbourhood I may make a city map.
With shops, livingtowers, workingtowers, etc.

I like this map and wouldn't mind the large amount of territories. I think a city map could be good too, so maybe both could be developed?

I think this map could work with many territories, just have people sign up for houses or other buildings. There could be residential areas, a shopping mall, a zoo, and even a sewer system for quick access to most of the map. You could even make a palace for Blitz.

Well I'm not really setting out to make a city map, although I like the idea. I was just looking for a small residential area. Maybe name a few (more likely all of) the spaces after Admins, great players, map makers, and so on, like Lack's House (Wicked's Mansion :roll:) ect.

I think maps should only have territories in multiples of three so I'm going to work with the version that has fewer based on feedback and see about cutting it down a little bit more so it is a multiple of three and see where I go from there.

I don't want to do any serious texturing until I know I have a good playable layout, I like to be able to swap out colors easily and so on first.

I'm not going to really respond to any of the 'make it a city' feedback, maybe that could be another map if someone wants to take that on. I would like to know what I should do continent wise if we assume the shape stays generally the same, and what base colors people like for continents.

im guessing the two lines connecting 'continents' together are passable? if so, you will need a lot more of them, otherwise i could hold the red, purple and turquoise continent with only having to protect two countries

Yeah they are crosswalks. I was thinking about adding bus stops, and docks as well to help open things up.

I had a very similar idea but decided not to pursue it because someone was going to do a CC City map. My idea was for CC Real Estate, basically the same concept but for a small town which I think would work better than a neighbourhood to be honest. A neighbourhood is very specific, if you broaden your map to include a small town you have many more options for territories, from various residential (posh, slums, etc) neighbourhoods, to a business district, dock/pier, park, school, farm and so on. You could then use public transport as a means to attack from one side of the map to the other.

The idea has potential, but I don't think that map you posted does.

yeah, if you do a city you could have the center be Lackattack's house, and off to the side you could have a really scary neighborhood where wicked lives.... lol
