What do you think of that???
The countries are not yet defined. Those lines just give you an idea of what it will look like. So I'm open to any suggestion...

i like the idea but maybe you should have europe with more than 1 area

I cant tell if that pinkish is supposed to be purple :O if not my eyes are all bugged. but an interesting idea. maybe i should make a pangaea map for what the real pangea looked like

i'm personally not a fan of the water backround it makes my eyes hurt
also your "icecaps" on africa and europe make the bonus areas confusing

The background is not a problem, I can change it right away.
And I can make the "icecaps" a bit more darker.

I like it. Except for the water is too bright. But you are changing that right?

Looks very nice, but I'm not so keen on all the straight borders. I'm also not too keen on the font used in the legend and its hard to make out oceania and antractica against the sea.
Keep up the good work, this could develop nicely.

The straight borders are temporary. I just didn't know how to seperate the countries and I hope you can give me advices. I wonder if I will create all new countries or separate the countries as they are in real life.

I dont see any wrong thing in the straight borders...
Why not?
Only antartica should be done better, not creating a merry-go-round idea.

It's looking good, but as suggested earlier Europe needs to be bigger and have more territories and bonus. Show some respect for the Old Continent please!

I will say that you have the best 3D mountains of any map on this site- whether its up for play or just a draft. I really like the way they look.
So now we have 3 pangea maps in development? Though I guess you can't really count Kayla's- she spent days insulting Marv's map but hasn't realeased a single update on her own.

it isn't pangea, we already have a thread about that one, but i don't know what shes doing, and it isn't pangea because pangea was 1 "island" with no seas in it

I have a complaint. Geographical trends would seem to indicate that in 250 million years the continents would just be even further broken up not re-merged back together. (Assuming our star doesn't blow up before then)
Regardless, this map looks fun.

I'm assuming this is where the map is from...
http://www.scotese.com/future2.htm
Which suggests that new subduction zones will pull the continents together after a previous widening of the atlantic.
And Pangea Ultima is a recognised term for a future supercontinent:

To answer Guiscard, I simply did my mountains with the Photoshop layer options but I admit that I worked very hard on them and I'm especially proud

I removed the borders so you could give me ideas on the countries.
I aslo changed the background but I'm not sure it's better

One thing. If this is in the future, the map would not look like this. North America is moving away from Europe.

Did you look at where NAmerica and Europe are? All of Africa is in between!
Anyway, as Guiscard posted, the map maker is not just inventing these continent positions.
This is from the wiki link
wiki tiki tavi wrote:About 100 million years from now, the Atlantic ocean will stop widening and begin to shrink because a bit of the Atlantic Ocean mid-ridge will have been subducted. A mid-ocean ridge between South America and Africa will probably be subducted first.

While to backround was too bright, I think it was better than the current one.. Maybe not as dark..
And the drop shadow of the first looked nice.. I think you should put it back..
And as for countries, I think you can be a bit creative.. Who knows what the countries 250 million years from now will look like[assuming we/and or the earth are still around that far in the future].
