In it's current form? No.

Having an idea is only the first step. Next you need to come up with a gameplay plan that makes sense. This has what, 9 territories? How do you expect a gameplay like that to even work? Whoever starts the game, wins...

The lack of territories aside, the thematic design is shoddily done. It's called "Capture the flag" but then there's just a vague geographical map with an objective. That's not how CTF even works! You can't just draw a random map, slap on a nominal theme on it and call it an idea. You have to actually think it through, you know?

CTF is basically a childrens' game. So if you are serious about making a map about it, embrace that theme. Draw up a proper gameplay. Maybe have a bunch of kids as starting positions, a playground or forest or something as territories, and divide it in two sides, with a flag on each side... the objective could be to capture the flag territory of the opposite side of where you happen to start. That could be interesting.

Eight sides, though, as to make sure everyone has a starting flag?

Nah, that wouldn't be CTF anymore. Two sides, with 4 starting positions on each side. Although, it's a shame we don't have team starting positions yet.
