Conquer Club

Im in the Region of Risk clan and we have decided to make a map that our clan can call a HOME map but that everyone will be able to play....

We have various splinter cells in our clan and every continent/kingdom is named after them... Then every clan member gets to choose a name for a country (hasnt been done as of yet )...

This map is going to the polls of our clan voting system so it is not finalised yet...

But due to my eagerness to recieve some kind of comments from the Map Foundry i have decided to display it here and get your feedback on it.

So any comments and suggestions would be nice..Also let your imagination run riot and lets see if we can get some original gameplay going

i dont like the overall colours. there not consistant or level. and 2 be honest the territorys are huge. im not a big fan of this map at the moment

i second that

colours arent meant to be consistent....THis is a google impression of the whole of mars....I liked the colours alot and thought it would be a crying shame to change them and put in boring eveyday colours!!

mabey get a pic that is true color not all those wierd blues and reds

mars is completely red lol

still not for mars. there is nothing special, every territory is pretty much the same, no different colors to differenciate(i dont like the names there)

Great colour scheme...very well blended...think the sea needs changing from blue though....and names could be more mars - these are very earth names.

I think it's a great idea and a good start(not just because i'm in the clan)

I think its a great idea. Keep trying is all I can say, looks awesome.

i could possible agree with the colours is the colours of the words where changed. they DEFINETLY do not match at all. Try using the eyedrop tool if your using photoshop and experiment with colors already on the map

Love the idea, but it doesn't have nearly enough countrys. there could be a whole other continent, maybe called mods or Noobs, haha

Change "Loyalists" to something like "Region of Risk Fans" or "Jesus Freaks" or "Fish Club (we have to include them!)" and make a few continents with fewer territories, like the australia of mars.

Like It but It needs work... Different colors..Try using A Real Pic of Mars.... And I hate the FONT... Otherwise Good Idea

MAKE THE ASA SMALLER! They aren't that big. Not like Spamalot Anyways… You need some barriers. Maybe an impassable crater or cliff or something. The territories need to be different shapes to make territories easier to defend. Maybe a sea link or two. Maybe I'll fix it up a bit, to give you a better idea…

totally agreed, like a crater or ancient dried up river.

Okay, this is VERY crappy right now, but it can get better.



The S's (silos?) can attack each other, I added a sea link, changed the territories, and added barriers (white squiggles).

Where is the doom research station?

I think a small map would be nice. The continent bonuses need to be changed though.

Spamalot - 5
Mafia - 4
Revolutionaries - 3
ASA - 2
Loyalists - 2

Just work on the colours for the moment.

And the font.
And the names.

Then the bonus's

Skittles, Whats wrong with the fonts...There are many different ones...Could you be more specific...

Also the coloures represent a martian feel...If i change them i will lose that feel...Would it better if i dulled them a little?

Also what names do you want to change?

I dono.. I just feel like the 'Spamalot' font doesn't suit there.

Dulling the colours would be good, especially on the coast lines.

And where did the Loyalist come from? But I wasn't talking about that. I was talking about the names for the territories.
Maybe the closest one to the 'sea' in Spamalot could be Anthrax (The Spamalot Castle).
