Map Starter: First Nation of EuroAmerica

Postby slankz on Wed Jan 25, 2017 12:45 am

Map Name: First Nations of EuroAmerica
Mapmaker(s):
Number of Territories: 258ish
Special Features: None!
What Makes This Map Worthy of Being Made: It's large. very large :) My idea is to combine 2 existing maps into a gigantic map. First Nation Americas and Eurasia

Based on the draft I'm not sure I get the connection points / locations?

At the moment I am thinking of these connection bridges:
> Pomo connecting to Svalbard and Severnaya Zemlya.
> Tiwanaku to Sakhalin
> Selk'nam to Sulawest

BTW, Victora still exist with the same connections will be located in the ocean somewhat.

I would say the connections between the 2 maps are subject to change based upon other brainpower...

I understand which are being connected .
What I mean is, how is it logical that western US connects to Northern Europe / Russia?

(I love this concept for a map btw)

It isn't logical...Kamchatka and Alaska should connect and maybe those islands to something around Greenland and or Northwest territories (it'd be an interesting game twist if there was "cold decay" on those spots in the Russian Islands and Greenland and NW territory too).

I m not looking for logic. I just want significantly larger maps to play and think this may be a quicker way to complete a new map

Maps are usually logical, or provide some sort of theme that explains the connections etc.
I'm not sure throwing something on paper to make it speedier is something thats needed (but it could just be me).

Between Atacama in South America and Sahalin there is half a globe of ocean and that's a lot of ocean for a connection
Even a little kid knows whats the name of my country... http://youtu.be/XFxjy7f9RpY
