Muscular/Skeletal : The hip bone's connected to the leg bone

So this is an idea I've had, for a muscular skeletal map. The bones and muscles are connected as they are, as well as being a fun map, it's also educational!

Image

It's kind of multi dimensional as you can attack from bones out to muscles, and up and down each limb/torso. Note: I plan to colour this soon.

The continents and parts are as follows:
(number of countries) [proposed bonus]

HEAD & NECK (5) [3]
skull
mandible
platysma
sternocleidomastoid
face muscles

SPINE (5) [3]
Cervical Vertebrae
Thoracic Vertebrae
Lumbar Vertebrae
Sacrum
Coccyx

BACK MUSCLES (7) [6]
Upper Trapezius
Middle Trapezius
Lower Trapezius
Teres group
Infraspinatus
Latissimus Dorsi
Errector Spinae

RIBCAGE (4) [2]
Ribs
Sternum
Clavicle
Scapula

ABDOMEN & CHEST (4) [2]
Serratus Anterior
External Oblique
Rectus Abdominus
Pectoralis Major

HIP BONES (3) [2]
Ilium
Ischium
Pubis

ARM BONES (6) [4]
humerus
radius
ulna
carpals
metacarpals
digits `

ARM MUSCLES (7) [5]
wrist flexors
wrist extensors
deltoids
brachioradialis
biceps brachii
brachialis
triceps

LEG BONES (8 ) [6]
Femur
Patella
Tibia
Fibula
Tarsals
Calcaneus
Metatarsals
Toes

LEG MUSCLES (11) [8]
adductor group
sartorius
vastus group
biceps femoris
rectus femoris
gastrocnemius
achilles tendon
peroneus group
tibalias anterior
gluteus maximus
hamstring group

A total of 60 parts, with 10 continent groups. Thanks for the advice Pious

I haven't made all the connections yet, I'm stepping through this now, but it will be as they are connected on our own bodies.

This is my first attempt at a map so please, constructive criticism :)

I've got all the parts separated in layers in photoshop, do I need to colour them in myself, or does the XML do that? Also adding spaces for dots for troop numbers...? Also any assistance in making the next step from here from experienced cartographers would be appreciated :)

You put the army circles in yourself(I don't know what you were talking about in that first question).

The next step is to wait for comments.

I like the idea, but if that's the map you're trying to use, don't.
It would look nicer and be easier to understand if you just show the front or the back. I think you should omit bones that are hidden behind the muscles (not sure if you did, too lazy too check).

Being a science guy myself I would definitely love to play this map. I can even face off against some of my students so they can review anatomy.

I guess I just have to work on a drug map of some sort so cc can be the ultimate review site for them

Add one more so it's 60. That number divides evenly with no neutrals on every game but 2 player (which has 1/3 neutrals by default).

i like the idea, I am a muscle guy, and I know all these muscles very well.
However, i dont think the pose will do. is way to linear. If I have the foot, all I have todo is work my way up the leg... no back door.
I'll have a pose for you in the next few days sketched out that will make more sense. Just my 2 cents.

I like the map but it need impassable borders or it will be very simple to win on

it's seems fun i think..
'cuz all the players here are used to play a MAP : of a country..
it will be a challenge to all the players over here...
i think you should give it a try :)

Mod Edit: Please don't use unnecessary quotes.

of coures, how else is he suppose to make his post stand out? :?

as for this map, i liek the idea just not the image the map is based on. lik e kinetic said, is way to linear for it to have any sort of interesting gameplay. now if u added one ways and somehow made the feet connect to the rest of the body then u can make it more interesting kinda like the circulatory system where arteries and veins only go in one direction.
