Nice idea.
Jiao may need a few added impassable boarders, it looks almost impossible to hold ATM

hmm... there are so many China/Asia maps already going through the Foundry or in play, it'll be hard to get people excited about another one.
But THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for making a China map without the wall... it drives me nuts that the China maps in production include the wall as an unbreakable border regardless of the era, as if the Chinese Red Army would come upon a decaying pile of rubble and think "oh dear, no way we get through that."

Exactly, this is to try and stop anyone advancing from the center in all directions. Ive keep this map fairly close to the history.

The wall never played a real part in the era none of the other kingdoms got far enough into wei to make the wall a part. Most of the the northen campaign was done by shu with little success.

CAPS LOCK ISNT COOL NOR SMART NOR DOES IT MAKE ME RESPECT YOUR OPINION.
now, for anyone else, this map is only part of china. The bonus structure is very different from the other china map, im also pritty sure that this one isn't similar game play to any others.

do you still have those pms? (i don't) somewhere i drew some impassable borders as well as the temple thing that balanced the gameplay. because at this point the entire wei is holdable with just one border while wu and shu are pretty much wide open.
i don't remember exactly but i think i put the 3 capitals plus a temple. search if you have it saved somewhere.

a few things that trouble me are that you have two small continents in the blue area each with only one border and they each only have a small number of territories two and three. It's even worse because of the possibility to hold the blue area with only one border. In my mind it could be quite easy to steamroll that blue area.
It's just so easy to start with either one of those continents and in many games this lucky start will make you a winner.
On a different note, one of the blue territories has no name.
I like the rest of the map though. I guess if you adjust the blue area it might require changes in the south too.

dont worry lol wei ill have to defend all 4 of its boarders to hold the continents. Im currently research a particular battle that may open up on of those smaller continents.

problem is that, the fleet was burnt down while it was chained together, i forget the name of the province (it will come to be soon, trying to remember) so it might not be very feasible to use as a sea route.
im looking into it as well right now. this will be my fav map if its able to finish to im doing everything possible to help it along.
EDIT: i remember now, the great fleet burning in the Chibi battle
