"Mutally Assured Destruction" or "The Cold Wa

I was thinking when playing the new WW2 Western Front map where you can basically annihilate an entire continent, why not make a map where annihilating and bombarding will be the encouraged way of beating your opponent?

I don't really have a specific idea of the map aside from that it would obviously contain at least the USSR and the USA and it's allies but the idea I have in mind is that several territories throughout the map will have missile silos and will be able to target a limited number of targets in the opposing "nation". Control a certain number and you'll be able to strike anywhere. I want the emphasis of the map to be rather on going in and conquering your opponent, you'll neutral him to death.

I think it still needs some refining but what do you think?

Woah...This almost exact idea is already being worked on by myself and windowmakers. It will be released soon enough ;)

so basically there's no movement and no strategy - you just attack and hope for good dice, right?

Duck and Cover (Foundry) & Istanbul (Map Ideas) both have similar game play features.
