So the second idea I've had, a lot less developed than the computer one, mainly because I just had it, but Dee Jay Conquer Club! DJ CC, Standing behind his decks, and mixer, and cables, with his box of vinyl ready to make the party explode.

Continents would be I suppose Left Turntable, Mixer, Right Turntable, DJ, Box (of vinyl), Amp, Speakers, Cables.

I will develop this further if anyone is interested, again I need an artist, I can design but I can't draw or graphics edit any good.

There'd be heaps of territories... the ones mentioned were continents...

On turntable, you could have "Base, Slipmat, Needle, Start/Stop, Pitch Control" then power cable and RCA left and right coming out the back into the mixer.

On the Mixer you would have a whole lot of territories (buttons/knobs), Crossfader, Left High/Mid/Low volume, Right High/Mid/Low volume, Flanger or other effects *shrug*, Master volume, Power button, BPM counter, Headphones, Cue Buttons

On the DJ you would have Left ear/Right ear (headphones) [or indeed, left ear headphones, right ear connects from the speakers!] Head, Left Hand (to Left Turntable), Right Hand (to Right Turntable) (both hands go to mixer and to vinyl box), Well Wikked DJ T-shirt! :P... etc

Box of Vinyl would be "box, lid, vinyl, scratch records" or something, small continent, the Australia as it were :P. Cables run from the mixer to the amp (one for left, one for right), Cable runs out of the amp to the speakers. Sound comes back from the speakers into the DJ!

That's a bit more development... still need an artist :P (Tho I can photograph most of this equipment and give you something to work with)

an abstract idea like this requires some extra special graphics... unless you can post a working image this should probably be moved to the new ideas thread.

Give me a day or two to come up with a sketch, I'll get something workable on paper and scanned within a week, and then someone can look from there.
