well i'm no good at making maps but i'm asking someone maybe to make like a map of the world at the height of the cold war maybe 1962 at the cuban missile crisis, and have bonuses like countries strongly alligned to the ussr, so ussr's colour being red have stuff like cuba in blood red, but i think the ussr being massive should be split up, for example soviet kazakhstan or soviet belorussia heres some examples

strongly soviet alligned countries (blood red)

Weakly sovet alligned countries (light red)

neutral countries (white or green)

weakly alligned NATO countries (light blue)

strongly alligned NATO countries (dark blue)

Its potentially a good idea, if done right, but I think there may already be something like this going through the foundry. (arms race, I think?)
