that is the new version of the board game.... i think that map should be put on here.... with the watter territ and the moon.... im not a great graphics guy but i will be willing to help someone create the gameplay and stuff if someone wants to use this idea..... i think it would be a cool map to add with classic.... and of course we will change the name because of copywrite issues.... but it would be a fun map

The big thing is that there is the underwater territories.
Other than that, the way that the original game played out was that three territories, drawn at random, were considered nuclear wastelands, and they actually blocked movement through them, so it really made for some interesting games when it blocked passageways between continents, and then with the addition of the moon, it allowed people to build up there, and then allowed for dropping down and attacking the world.

that's not even a new idea at all... its been thrown around, and it would be super hard to do since this site isn't affiilated with hasbro at all, and so we'd have to make our own map similar to theirs

i think we should have the gameplay of the nuclear waste though on any map that could be on the same settings as fog of war, yes or no.
since that sounds cool

Well the map wouldn't really matter because it's not that different. Only thing is the water territs and the moon but you would have to have a lot more stuff to make a new map. But I think we should use some of the changes in gameplay like the nuclear waste zones. That should be an option like FoW.

Would there really be a copyright issue? You would just be using the classic board off CC, add some water territories and a moon. The commanders would be hard to put into the game without energy. You could just put permanent moon bases on territories.

Just a map like this, the standard CC map with water and moon territories, the red dots are launch pads and can only attack any of the moon bases and the moon bases can only attack each of the launch pads. The moon and water territories can start off neutral. Although with a better map, anyone interested in helping?

To put commanders in the game you could have a area you have to take(each commander) that doesn't count for re-enforcements and can't be taken that attacks one way to the moon bases. Would be harder for water commanders, unless you had something like if holding this territory and commander can attack here

Have you ever seen the ant colony game, kinda like that, it's off the board, and you attack a neutral army. Once captured it would serve as your moon base

I really like this idea:
2210 rules wrote:The map changes each game — before any units are placed, four Devastation markers are positioned randomly on the board. Those four territories are nuclear wastelands that are impassable and uninhabitable during the game.
I don't think our XML could do this - but it would be really fun.

Try putting the moon where the legend is, and then run the legend along the bottom of the map.
