Paris and France

I haven't seen this suggested... although it may have already been. If so, I apologize. A couple of ideas.

1. How about a map of Paris. It could be divided by Arondissements the way Paris currently is. Fortification bonuses for taking regions (ie Montmart, Ille de la Cite, etc.) and possibly for holding some of the more famous former strongholds and palaces (like the Louvre). I think it could be a good map.

2. Another possibility: The French Revolution/Napoleonic Wars. A map of a divided France and Western Europe set up with a Napoleonic theme. It'd only be slightly different than the current map of Europe. But, I think if it were done correctly, it could be a lot of fun.

Just a couple of ideas from the new guy. :)

Unit 2 is like the idea in the 'Old France' topic.
Unit 1 was discussed in the 'Other cities' topic, but it's better to work on it here.

I've got a copy of Risk Napoleon Edition, actually. I think that map, or a revamp of it, could be used.

There was also an expansion to the Napoleon edition which included the Ottoman Empire. Bringing it up to 10 territories and completing the continent.

How much would we have to change it to escape copyright?
