I can't say no to my home.
Delaware County is missing, but thats okay cause its infused with Philly on your map, which gives us street cred

I say you need to add delaware country, cuz thats where i'm from too. but about the map, it doesnt look too good. Get a bet editing program. The colors arent easy to look at, the map looks flat, the borders are ugly, and there are no obsticals that direct the flow of the game. But since im' from PA i hope you improve it and that it makes it on the site.

Maps of US States haven't done well at all in the map foundry, don't think this will fare any better.

The way I see it, even though states are neat to some of us American players, there isn't much interest for the international part of the community. In all honestly, how many of us would want to play a province, territory, department of another country. That's why I voted the third option.

Damn, lots of Pennsylvania posters on here! (all Philly area as well?)
Anyway, I know the rest of the foundry won't be interested in this, but I can't exactly say 'no' straight out. However I would strongly suggest looking into a better image making program such as gimp or inkscape (both can be found in map making tools).
It will make your life much easier actually and will make your potential map exponentially better.

Also, your current continents are not going to work. They are all too big and too hard to hold.
The SE has 10 total countries, 5 border countries and a bonus of 2??
While the SW has 7 total countries, 5 border countries and a bonus of 3 (which is still too low)
Then Central South- a continent with 9 border countries, 4 bordering continents and too many countries for me to want to count.....it will never be held, it doesn't matter how high you make the bonus!
I think you should add at least 1 more continent since you have a high number of countries, and try to add some impassable boundaries as well (there are plenty of mountains and rivers which you probably know about that could help make the map playable.)

i know that it has bad a bad image, but this is only the base of the map. its not the real map i am making now, its just the base of it.

i think there should be less countries.. join a couple of them together, and make obstacles... but if this somehow gets on the site, then ill be very proud, ppl seem to hate us americans lol. Ppl complain if we try to make a US State when they make a map of a country or continent that is as big as texas lol.. like australia. I wish you LOTS of luck and hope ppl are interested. This isn't some boring state. There are a lot of historical things there, but the problem is its just American History lol.. so lets hope the outsiders agree

I do have 1 suggestion, use a different color where dark blue(I think it's dark blue I am slightly color blind so I might be off on the exact color) either that or use white text cuz it's hard to read the text.

ya i have to agree here. im from the us and not interested in maps of individual states, including my own

ud have to include some kind of unique concept not available in other maps.
sorry... pretty boring

Sorry, but that map looks really boring. In accordance with another post, US states are not the most interesting layout (I'm mean that in a pixelated form, not geographically)...

Hello, my brother again has called me in to help him out with the map (I tried to make the Moon map) I've got some new ideas for the map, maybe some of the rivers in PA to close off some of the territories and add more bonuses to the different counties.
We'll post it as soon as its done. (And i agree with you Kayla in your post on the first page lol)

Your claim that Australia is as big as Texas. Australia and the whole United States of America are very close in land mass size.
On topic though, I don't have a problem with state maps, but maybe they should be of states more well recognised to the wider international community. California, Texas, Florida, Hawaii, etc. I don't think Pennsylvania would rank very highly.
Edit: Removed comments that may have offended. 8)

Why don't we leave the US supporting/bashing in the Mess Hall...
I think you should make the territory names bigger. There is a lot of wasted space that can easily be filled up with the words, and it would help players find territories on the map.
Also, there doesn't seem to be any variation between the continents on the map. You have 2 continents with 5 borders, 2 with 6, 1 with 8 and 1 with nine. It would be best if you could vary the continent border numbers to add variation: Maybe have one continent with one or two borders. Lastly, as the other people above me have mentioned, the map seems to be one big square with territories drawn in them. Put some obsticles on the map: A river, a wall, the liberty bell, whatever you think is best.
I think this map has potential, you just need it to be different. Put something different on the map; there are many ideas that have not been explored.

With some more thought on the map, how about making a region, rather than just a state? An area similar to the New Engalnd continent on the USA map?
The BENELUX map looks nice and that's just using a small area of Europe. Don't see why the same principle can't be applied to any country, using states and territories.

Good ideas, maybe zoom in on like Philly or Pittsburg, more popular places in PA, we'll look into this.

I still feel it would be better to cover more than one state and have a region.
