Earlier today I won a doubles game \o/ However, now I went to look up my teammates games and see that he joined more than two of the same settings (3 x Standard). Does this mean I won't get my medal?

Hey Gilligan,

So I kind of had 8 Nov. in the back of my head as the deadline for this pumpkin carving thing, thinking that the entries would then be posted and we'd get to vote.

Now, upon rereading the first post, I see that they are going to be sent "to a judge in an anonymous manner and a winner will be determined". Are we going to get to see the entries?

I just remember being so impressed by the entries in the Easter Egg design contest, even the ones that didn't win, and was really looking forward to seeing what the great digital artists here at CC came up with for the pumpkin!

Yes, Easter eggs were judged by public vote. The rules for the pumpkins do describe the contest differently than what occurred with the Easter egg. I wonder if this is to avoid it becoming a popularity contest- even with anonymous entries in the voting thread a player can tell everyone theyve met on cc to vote for entry #_. I was obviously not a part of the decision and I am not an artist so I don't enter these things, I am just taking a guess. I bet at least a few designs will be posted for public viewing pleasure eventually.

hey gilligan, did you receive my pumpkin entry on the first day of the competition? just want to make sure as i never got any confirmation and i thought it looked quite cool...

also are we getting medals from the special event games?
