New Features This Year:

• Since there is a real-world Olympics going on this year, the CC event of the same name will be synchronized with it. The Opening Ceremonies will launch on August 5th at 20:15, at the same time as the Opening Ceremonies in Rio.
• Nine new events have been added to the roster.
• Old events have been reworked. By popular demand, 1v1 events that look like brackets will actually be brackets, with a score reset after every round.
• Events will launch every twelve hours from midnight on the 6th, and will reiterate for 24 hours, so there will always be two events to choose from.
• This year will again feature tribal competition.
• Speed events, Tribal events, and Freemium-friendly events have all been clearly marked as such in the schedule.

Scoring System:

Platinum Medal: 10 points
Gold Medal: 5 points
Silver Medal: 3 points
Bronze Medal: 1 point
Participation Ribbon: 1 point

As well as holding the crown of CC Olympic Champion Tribe, the winning Tribe will receive:

15,000 (shared), plus a Tribe Medal (each tribe member).

Individuals

Individuals leaders will win the following prizes:

Red Star - First Place
Green Star - Second Place
Blue Star - Third Place to 5th Place
Yellow Star - 6th Place - 10th Place
Challenge Achievement Medal - 30 points
General Achievement Medal - 11 points

4360 would be Glow-in-the-Dark Archery. If you check the schedule you'll see it opens August 14th at 12:00 noon. Links to open tournaments will be at the top of your Central Command page.

Make sure you have an open slot by then. These tournaments carry a freemium exemption, so once you're in they will put you in your games even if you don't have any empty slots, but you do need one initially to join.

Yes, only 1 shot at each event.

You're starting with a clean slate. All wiped clean.

Yeah, I re-read the thread from last year and I remember you saying that, which is why I worked so hard to make sure that Speeds (and Tribals, and Freemie-friendlies) are clearly noted in the schedule, bold and in colour. Sorry, I have no power to edit the tourney descriptions themselves. I'm hoping the improved schedule will help, although as noted there was already one mistake in it.

Also please don't call it tribes. It should read the top clan. We are forced to play tribes with our clan which really ruins it for most clans, except for maybe FALLEN and a couple of others who have a lot of players that play non team games.

If the clan mods would have let players that are in clans start tribes this event would be a lot better.

Tribes are allowed to compete as well, such as Mystic, Biotic etc. If I recall correctly, last year one of them finished 2nd.

Yeah 2 out of the 4 primitive tribes ended in the top 10, Mystics was #2

Oh sorry I misunderstood your question.

For each event, only the ones who compete earn the medals. So if you get a gold, you get the gold only which counts towards your personal count (towards the individual scores) and your tribes collective totals (for the tribe counts for tribe prizes)

Ok this is the answer I was seeking for. So for each event only competitors gets medals, not the whole Tribe.

The same happened to me, I deadbeated the Baltic Crusade speeder cuz the last I saw it had 3/8 filled, then next time I refreshed the page it was over and I had already DB even tho the yellow spinning wheel saying stay on this page was still going :/ wasn't able to participate in another because of the 1 attempt restriction
