What are the x's and *'s by the names in the conference standings?

x - is the team that clinched first place in their league.
* - marks deadbeat players (a separate list has them by CC name, so they will be banned from my future tourneys)

The Duquesne Dukes advance to the Atlantic 10 Tourney Finals. Looking to hang another banner and accept a nice seeding in the show!

The 16-17 Wake Forest Deamon Deacons are now in the ACC Finals. Some of those bubble teams better hope I lose. :)

Championship games have been sent for the West Coast Conference and for the Missouri Valley.
Congrats and good luck to those players.

Lots of movement in the conference tourney over the last 48 hours...congrats to coach cwinslow and his Wichita State Shockers on winning the Missouri Valley title.

We had some big upsets in the Pac-12 tourney, including overall #4 ranked Oregon going down in the quarterfinals. #8-seed Wake Forest is the biggest underdog to advance to a title game so far with coach mviola battling for the ACC automatic bid.

Good luck all...the picture is clearing up nicely. I'm thinking we can do the Selection Show midweek (or at least before Saturday's real Final Four tips off). More on an official time for that as we get through the weekend. Play fair, and play fast everyone :)

All right the auto-bids are filling up with Miami, Fla. taking the ACC tournament with a 9-point win over Wake Forest. Coach shoop76 leads his team to a 22-11 record during the regular season...what seed awaits the 'Canes :?:

Before the tournament could you make sure to adjust my record to correct the loss at Villanova?

LaSalle, the #6 seed, out of the Atlantic-10 is the latest to get an automatic bid and the lowest seed to win a conference tourney so far.

The NCAA Selection Show will be held in live chat at 10 a.m. Monday, April 2, and opening NCAA tourney and NIT games will go out later that day.

Wow, I can't wait to find out if the Illini get a #1 seed. If they do I'm going to stand up at work and do this dance...

congrats to mizzou3181, as Illinois, #1 in the RPI, wins the Big-10 tourney to clinch a spot, and a likely #1 seed into the Big Dance.

The big east tournament is not likely to be completed until after the selection show. What will happen?

Same might be true for the MAC, but Flex, you should be able to write me off as losing in the finals even if the games aren't finished. I had great luck against kidstrumpet in the last game of the regular season on his home map, but he came back with phenomenal luck in our current 3 games. 2 first turns, both of which he dropped a bonus. And it's flat rate and I haven't seen a rainbow set through the first turn ins in all 3 games. I think he's had rainbows in all 3. Amazingly, I still will probably win the one game where I got first turn, despite turning in a red set to his rainbow.

The Selection Show will take into account all finished games...I don't think there are any surprise teams left in the conference tourneys that are in make or break mode.

All right...after checking results this morning, I've decided to push back the Selection Show several days.

The new time for the live bracket reveal will be 10 a.m. (Pacific) Thursday, April 5.

If you are still active in conference tourneys, please try to wrap up your games in a quick manner.

thanks, flex

Congrats to coach Mass Miracle, who led James Madison to the CAA/MAAC tourney title. That fills up half our our automatic bids.

What does the selection show entail? What happens if we can't make the chat? Or is it just revealing the bracket and talking about it in chat?
