Greetings everyone!

This is the first in a series of 8 1v1 tournaments across 8 Eras of human history. Each tournament will be run independently and signing up for 1 does not commit you to any of the others. Premium only please.

Each tournament will feature 32 players. At signup, select which group you would like to be in based on the 8 maps below. Each group will feature 4 players and you will play each player once for a total of 3 games in the first round. Any ties will be broken by whomever WON their matchups in the fewest rounds total (if on the off chance this does not decide the winner then the winner of their matchup advances). The winner of each group will then advance to an 8 player single elimination bracket (matchups will be determined randomly). Each matchup (including the finals) will be 3 games, and will consist of one game on each group winner's map and a random map from the same Era.

show: The Grand Finale

All games will use the following settings: Auto, Sequential, Escalating, Chained, Foggy, and each game will have a limit of 30 rounds.

Please sign up below and select which group you would like to be in.

Alexander please, and message me for all the other tourneys you are running. I'm too lazy at times to check the tournament thread.

And you're saying that if someone wins multiple tournaments, you'd use a runner up, but wouldn't it be more fair to place him in the bracket multiple times? Since he did earn that honour.

Everybody is in up to here. Thanks for playing.

And mr. CD, here are the rules for having a Grand Finale that isn't open to the public:

The winner of the Grand Finale will receive a General Achievement Medal if:

The TO of the Grand Finale applied for the medal through the proper channels.
The tournament series leading up to the Grand Finale has to consist of at least 8 tournaments, i.e., there must be a minimum of 8 players/winners participating in the Grand Finale.*

*Note: If a player wins more than one tournament in the series, the runner(s)-up of the tournament(s) after his first win must be used to fill the Grand Finale if that is needed to reach the minimum of 8 players.
