No standings update yet since no one has been eliminated from any games. I do plan on updating the standings pretty regularly (at least once a day hopefully).

All games started without needing any reserves (thanks everyone!). Here's a quick summary of where we're are so far:

Games in Round 2 - 9
Games in Round 3 - 7
Games in Round 4 - 6
Games in Round 5 - 2

Game 8924218 ....... k, Check gamechat, greenoaks proposed a truce with xman5151. As a result, I tried to take out xman and he had 1 territory left that I could not access. (Fine, how the game roles:) ) However... when greenoaks took his turn, he took out xman first.

This is at the very least, very unsportsmanlike. Anyway, as a result, would you please give xman5151 2nd place and me, 3rd place in that game? I deserve 3rd place for not being able to take xman out and greenoaks should have taken me out first as a matter of good sportsmanship. Thanks!

I appreciate the honestly and willingness to take a lesser spot in the standings for that game. I thought about it and decided I'm going to leave the result as is. Strange things can happen in this game, whether intentional or unintentional and I don't think I should be left to make a judgement on whether someone deserves to be placed higher or lower because of an oddball circumstance.

Also, I don't think it would be fair to others in the tournament if I move xman5151 up just because someone else in the tournament thinks he deserves to get 2nd instead of 3rd in a game. Giving him extra points could result in someone else not making the next round based on a decision that is probably questionable.

This tournament thread has not been visibly updated in a while. By “visibly updated” I mean that the thread has not been bumped for at least 2 months by posting a new post or reply.

We routinely check the last few pages of the “Ongoing Tournaments” Forum for inactive tournaments. If your tournament thread is on those last pages, we have to check to see if your tournament is still active, which can be quite a lot of work.

Please help us in our quest to find inactive tournaments and update your thread regularly and then also post that you have updated it (if your tournament is still active). This will get the active threads and tournaments bumped to the first page, and significantly lessen our workload of checking for inactive tournaments.

no, congratulations greenoaks

i won Italy and Australia, placed 2nd on France, Germany & USA and 4th on Canada for 39 points

kuma won Canada & France, placed 2nd on Italy & Australia and 3rd on Germany & USA for 38 points

Tirbid won Germany & USA, placed 2nd on Canada and 3rd on Italy, France & Australia for 35 points

the scores are close but in the end i won the tournament by 1 point

You are correct greenoaks, sorry for the mistake. I had you down for 2 wins, 2 2nds, 1 3rd and 1 4th which was 36 points, but I have double checked the results and the game I had you in 3rd was actually a 2nd place, so you should have 39 points. Again, sorry for the mistake.
