team list is updated...still waiting for final lineups from Charlotte, Phoenix and Milwaukee...of course, Phoenix and Milwaukee still need a single to join them, so if you're interested choose one of those two teams and you'll get in.

Should be starting Game 1, Round 1 on Friday.

I have 14 full teams and still looking for one player to join Milwaukee and 2 singles to join Phoenix.

I'll give this through late Thursday night to fill out...at that point the open teams will become "byes" for the first round...of course I'll give plash, eberhardt and riskfan the option of joining forces, hopefully leaving us with just one bye team in the tourney.

I'm moving plash, eberhardt and tke29 over to represent Phoenix, so that my Trail Blazers don't benefit from the potential first round bye.

One team left (Milwaukee) a group of three can take it, or two singles to join riskfan1.

If it's not filled by the end of the day that spot will turn into a bye...we'll get Game Ones, Round One out in the morning (Friday)

I've uploaded a sample box with an explanation for how scoring worked for the players listed.

I've also updated the shot accrual/position chart to eliminate neutrals from the equation...they were a hassle to add up and had an extremely minimal impact on the game.

Hope that makes sense...can't wait to get started.

One last tweak to the formula (I'll update the example tonight), but "owned" cards will only be counted for the player who wins the map, giving a small boost to FG attempts or 3P attempts, depending which position you are playing. (see updated shot/map chart).

speaking as a 3rd party in this case, and not just the pissed off TO, I know you are new to tournaments, and it is great that you are joining the club, but TO's really appreciate it if you read their first post. In the first post, there is a link to a page with all of the taken teams listed, and it also shows the one that isn't. The mavs have been filled for a while.

yes...we're good to go...just waiting to get privileges...once I get those, we'll go (Bucks may play the first round with just their 2 players...better than having a bye)

still awaiting privileges...but once I get the OK, I'll make up games...hopefully over the weekend.

Still that one spot available for the Bucks if anyone wants in.

i thought you had to put "full" or "awaiting privs" in the subject headline before they would give privs?

ya, how are you expecting to get privis? You are n't supposed to PM the TD's anymore, with the new "Tournament Database", the TD's just look through the create/join forum and move the tourneys that say "FULL" manually

I'm sitting on flex's PM so that hopefully he can get that one extra player while the tournament shows up on the main database page. I'll grant the privileges later today regardless.

thanks night...I'll have to read to new guidelines...my mistake.

I'll make a quick adjustment if needed for our final team...but yes, would rather have a full 3-person team.

Game 1s have been sent out to all players.

Note: The Milwaukee Bucks are playing with only a two-person lineup. Their third single dropped out of the tourney late and no replacement came in...I figured it was better to adjust that one team rather than making the Bucks into a bye. If the Bucks advance out of the first round, we will be fishing from among the eliminated teams for a player to join them the rest of the way.
