This is the fourth Installment of my Map Blaster Series
This tournament will be run by both me, brandoncfi and my Map Blaster partner Dazoot
The Emperor of the Galaxy has ruled for 200 years, his life extended by the souls of his vast empire. He sacrifice's thousands of people a day to his Gods and in return his Gods grant him long life.
A hero is being sought to fight a holy war against the Emperor and his Pantheon. The emperors vast resources stretch across the worlds in order to become the hero you must build your army and fight across the different landscapes and settings. Are you that Hero? Do you have what it take to bring down the Empire and end his Evil Rule...We shall see, prepare yourself you are about to face the toughest challenge of your life.
Game Play:
There will be 96 players in this Tourney
They will be split into 12 groups of 8 players
Round 1
Each group will play all of the available 8 player maps at once(97 games)
The top 4 players from each group will move on to the next round
Round 2
This will work the same as round 1 with the new groups
There will be 48 players for this round split into 6 groups
Each group will play at least 83 games
Top four players from each group move on
Round 3
This round will have 24 players split into 3 groups
Top two players move on. The wildcard spots will be determined by total wins from rounds 1-3. The two players with the highest total of map wins who are not already in the final will receive the two remaining spots in the final round
Round 4
The final Group of 8 players will play to see who wins
Settings
For all maps the setting will be
Escalating Cards
Sequential turns
Unlimited Fortifications
No Fog
Number Of Games
You will be playing at minimum 83 Games at once this number will increase if more maps are put into active play
Scoring
Winner receives 8 points
2nd (last player eliminated) gets 7 points
3rd gets 6 points
4th gets 5 points
5th gets 4 points
6th gets 3 points
7th gets 2 points
8th (first player eliminated) gets 1 point
Tie
In the case of a tie the player with the most amount of game wins will move on
if they have the same amount of wins then a bonus match will be play. It will be a best of three match and they games will be random
Bonus
There will be bonus maps played in the second and third rounds
The player will be divided into groups of 5-6 players (however it works out)
Scoring will be the same as above with the winner getting 5 or 6 points dependant upon how big the group is
The bonus scores will be added to your final score for that round
Rule Additions and Changes
Look here for any changes that may occur during the tournament
1. I have added an extra round to the Tourney so a total of four rounds will be played
2. Changed Bonus rounds to 2nd and 3rd rounds
3. New Maps have been added. Games 84-86 look for a PM with the new games
4. New Maps have been added for a total of 97 eight player maps
5. ]Two more maps have been added to the play list

6. The wildcard spots will be determined by total wins from rounds 1-3. The two players with the highest total of map wins who are not already in the final will receive the two remaining spots in the final round (This is to deter people from not playing and just building armys
