My first tourney will feature 16 doubles teams playing knockout rounds on current beta maps.
Round 1 will be played on Castle Lands, round 2 on Greenland, round 3 on Indian Empire and the final will be played on Peloponnesian War. All games will be sunny, sequential, chained. Each round will feature 3 games - 1 no spoils, 1 flat rate and 1 escalating – win 2 or more games to progress to the next round.
Teams will be seeded based on their score at time of sign-up, so 1 vrs 16, 8 vrs 9… 2 vrs 15.
To sign up, post your own and your partner’s names and your combined total score. You must have 3 open game spots to play, and foes switched off. EDIT: Spots were offered to mapmakers - all remaining spots are open to all.
Before starting each round I will check any pending changes to the maps, and if necessary substitute an alternate beta map.
Please post in this thread when you win through to the next round.
