FWIW Aerial, you actually shot yourself in the foot with that analysis in our game - I had not examined it in as much depth, but once you clued me in to the fact that I just needed to take out Mysteron, I fortified accordingly and on my next cash was able to eliminate him. Not sure the game woulda' proceeded that way without your commentary.

I see a pretty big difference between Aerial's commentary and pj's. Between disclosing his card situation and giving extremely explicit instructions, I'm not a fan of what pj did there. Just my opinion.

Miandw wanted my opinions so here goes - PJ coaching other players is just annoying and makes me want to kill him more. Just cos he says he can't cash in cards in the chat doesn't mean it's true. At the end of the day he achieved his goal of progressing to the next round - if he's happy with his tactics then more power to him!
You're gonna meet my friend PAIN !

Not too bad for only my 2nd tournament, was a close one but snuck through with some lucky breaks in the end.

Interesting that all 4 finalists won one game in the final round. Rabbiton thought it would've been bad form for me to win my own tournament, but rest assured I was trying all the way!

Thanks to all who participated, including those who participated in ?'s first iteration of this tournament way back starting in late Spring, iirc.

I don't think I'll run another just like this, but who knows. My 3456 league is in the final stages, and I do plan to run another of those some time in the Spring (the Fall for you Aussies!). I'm noticing I can't keep up with all the new maps, so maybe I'll do a 'new map' sort of tourney, just so I get them played. I think there are at least 10 now that I've never played.
