I have asked KraphtOne if he is going to purchase premium again. If he is not, or if I do not hear from him, a randomly chosen teammate will take his place.

All right, I'm getting ready to start making and sending invites for Day 7's doubles games.

But before I do that, I just want to let you guys know that I'm being interviewed for the next issue of the Dispatch!
Ask me your questions here!

Sorry to see you go, but if that's your wish, thank you for letting me know.

This means that Team Malawi is now down to one player, and since you can't play doubles with one player, Team Malawi hereby forfeits its 3 remaining Show Jumping games and its 6 remaining Synchronized Swimming Games.

For each Show Jumping game, Malawi will be given 4 faults and their opponents 0.
For each Synchronized Swimming game, Malawi will be given 0 points and their opponents the maximum score of 18.

This applies only to games that did not start or from which a player deadbeats.

I hope none of their opponents have something in stake otherwise its unfair (mostly when you see that many games are being played absolutely for nothing)

I doubt it will prove to have that big of an impact - all told, only 2 Show Jumping games were forfeited.

they are playing cameroun and brunei whoare very much in the race for winning the synchronized swimming event; you are awarding these 2 the max points which is almost impossible to get, so yes, they are getting an unfair advantage to win the synchronized swimming event. what do you mean only 2 show jumping games were forfeited, you just said all 3 show jumping and 6 synchrized swimming?

First, minor point: it's Cambodia, not Cameroon.

Second, and more importantly, if you search for Malawi's Pentathlon games (game label "MAW"), you will see that Team Malawi's games against those two teams filled and started.
Therefore, those games WILL NOT be forfeited and will be scored normally according to their results, since I have said that ONLY games that did not start or from which a Malawi player deadbeats will be forfeited.

The only games that Malawi forfeited by not filling were their Show Jumping games against Sierra Leone and Sri Lanka, who are not in contention for the Show Jumping title.

fair enough, but you did say in your previous post that you were awarding max points in the synchronized swimming event for all of malawi's opponents (including 2 that were fighting for the title); so I reacted to that statement, I had no reason to go verify if something changed as you didn't anounce it. Forfeits on show jumping have never been an issue as none of these games have incidence on event/overall win. If the games with something in stake are played it's all good, otherwise you would agree that it would have altered the competition.

You are correct on all counts.

When I made my initial post, I was under the assumption that none of Malawi's Day 7 games had been filled.
When I discovered that that assumption was incorrect, I added the sentence beginning "This only applies to...", but I did not think to adjust the post to make clear which games would be forfeited and which would not, and for that I apologize.

Third batch of Day 7 invites have been sent out.
This is the final batch for many players.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank betiko, IcePack, and nicestash, who have done so much, in so many little ways, to help me make sure this tournament was and is run as fairly and as smoothly as possible, and for helping to make it all worth doing.
Thanks, guys.

yup thanks sempai, i really feel bad for you and all the work it must have been, truely insane... just checked o the tournament finder, that 3863 games, roughly 4 invites per game, that's over 15 000 invites sent manually, + all the reinvites, the drop out headaches, the whole excel spreadsheet with millions of tabs and entries... I think no one else on the site would ve had the patience to do such thing!

and this is going to be an extremely close finish between 3 teams for the title.... I guess the 3 top teams will be separated by an inch on the finish line.

And finally, the last of the Day 7 doubles games are underway!

Update:
The Fencing final has been decided, with mviola of Serbia winning that tournament and unselfishly donating his 3 months of free premium to his teammate, IcePack.
2 of the 5 Final Round Shooting games have finished, but the end result is not even close to being decided.
2/3 of the Show Jumping Games and slightly less than half of the Synchronized Swimming games have finished by now.
And finally, we are waiting for the Nepali fencer to join game 2 of the final Cross-Country Relay, with Cambodia having taken game 1.
