I already don't like this tournament. The games should come one at a time, or 2 at a time. Right now with 6 games going it's more "I'm overwhelmed by trying to keep my games straight" than "I'm exploring this map and learning how to play it".

I'm sorry to hear that DY. I made it clear in the first post that all games will be played at the same time but I'll also consider your comments for any future Map Explorers tournaments

How are people listed with "10" wins when only 6 games were sent out?

cuz the number of wins listed is not the number of wins in this tourney.....it is the number of wins the player had on this map at the time of sign up(if over 10 wins at time of sign up then does not qualify for the tourney).

This is an interesting format -- Yoshi is right that it's a challenge to keep track of the games, I'm just leaving more notes in the game chat than usual to try and keep up! It's also an interesting twist in that you're playing within your group of 4, but with different partners, so as you share game strategies with one partner in a game, you're potentially indicating your tendency in another game against that same player. Just observations, things to think about for the next iteration of this type of tournament.

that about sums it up.

Yes it is interesting. Depending on the feedback from this tournament, future tournaments with a similar structure will likely have some changes to them... Of course future Map Explorers Tournaments will not all be Team tournaments either.. some will be 1v1's, 5 or 6 player etc.

Last game finished a couple days ago...First post has been updated with the results so far... congrats to those advancing. We're going to have quite a few playoffs to see who else will be joining them. Good luck folks.

just as an update 2 of the playoff games have finished. We still have a few to finish so we're not quite ready for Round 2 yet.

2 games are still active. I've pm'd the players involved in Group B. Since the third player has not accepted numerous invitations and appears to have not visited the site for a while he will be adjudged to be the first person eliminated from the game by default. As a result the other 2 players will automatically advance to the next Round.

missed my invites due to having problem renewing my premium....(i think my debit card does not like this site or this site does not like debit cards?) anyway. i have got my premium renewal to go through. can you resend the invites? the rules of this tournament state you get 2 invites in each round. i did find the games and could just go join them but don't want to piss anyone off...
