This tournament is open to players with one game slot available at all times.
This is a Tournament Players Association Year 5 [TPA5] event, and is governed by its rules, guidelines, and judgments which are detailed here: viewtopic.php?f=89&t=207126
All are welcome to join and participate in the association. You do not need to do anything more than join one or more of the TPA5 events that will be announced on Mondays. Check back on the scoreboard to see how you're doing:
Whether in the judicial system (Three Strikes law) or in baseball (three strikes, you're out!), you've probably heard about the three strikes system before - and it is on this that this tournament is modelled after.
Tournament Setup
The tournament will follow a setup with the following simple rules:
For rounds where an odd number of players remain:
All game settings will be 1v1, Random, Automatic, Sequential, Escalating, Chained, Sunny, No Trench, 20 Rounds.
Signups
This tournament is open to freemium signups, but players will have to keep at least 1 game slot reserved for the tournament at all times. Players will risk elimination if they fail to keep an open slot for the tournament.
Signups will be open for 4 weeks till 9 March 2015, or when there are no new tournament signups for a few days. All players who sign up will get to play. No reserves will be needed for the tournament.
IMPORTANT!
As mentioned above, please indicate in your signup if you do NOT wish to be used as an extra. All premium players will be considered otherwise.
TPA Scoring
For TPA scoring purposes, final positions will be based on the round in which players were eliminated. Players eliminated in the same round will be considered to be tied.
Notes
1. I reserve the right to change aspects of the game if anything needs changing, to ensure fairness to all players or for the benefit of the tournament.
2. If you wish to withdraw from the tournament at any time, please inform me via personal message or post on this thread.
3. If you do not join the game within 48 hours, you will be eliminated.
4. If you are know you are not going to be around for a duration of time, please inform me. If the period of time is short enough, I will delay all of your games.
5. For any questions, problems etc. you may voice it out in this thread or you can PM me.

- You will be matched against a random player on a random map every round in a 1v1 game.
- When you lose a game, you get a strike against you.
- When you have 3 strikes against you, you are eliminated from the tournament.
- If you manage to win 3 games in a row, a strike will be removed (to a minimum of 0 strikes).
For rounds where an odd number of players remain:
- A premium player still in the tournament will be randomly chosen to play an extra game. The extra player's name will be indicated in the Game Label beforehand.
- The outcome of the game will have NO EFFECT on the extra player's tournament results, but will count as per normal for the opponent.
- Players who have been used as an extra will not be chosen as an extra again (unless all remaining premium players have been an extra).
- IMPORTANT! I know that these can be seen as unnecessary extra games, so if you do NOT wish to be used as an extra please indicate as such in your signup post.
