You know, it occurs to me that Rocky Anderson should be running for President with Jill Stein as his VP. That'd be a strong ticket for me, I think.

The problem with the transcript, and something that I think you would particularly enjoy, is that you would miss Gary Johnson's...demeanor. It was excellent. And he was apparently feeling quite ill, which I didn't notice at all.

I just saw a very interesting comment someone made. A perfect system would have Gary Johnson as President and Rocky Anderson as Governor of his state. That seems like a very nice place.

Johnson was passionate, Alexander was articulate, Stein was agreeable, and Goode was on the stage as well.

This made me laugh. But in fairness, Goode was one honest sonuvagun.

I skimmed through this the debate...I'll admit, I mostly stopped to listen whenever Gary Johnson was speaking. Rocky's presentation of himself and his beliefs was much better than Jill's imho; however they're both too left-wing for me mainly in terms of continuing unsustainable spending. My stance on issues is a cross between Gary Johnson and Virgil Goode, but Virgil quite obviously is not presidential material, so I'd support Gary. He is very passionate about his stand on issues and is able to clearly explain why drastic changes to the system must be made.

I've finally had a chance to watch the debate. It's refreshing to see candidates tell you where they stand without pandering to the voters esp. in Goode's case. I've got quite a bit of research to do on Anderson and Stein now

I'm quite surprised that Stein won over Anderson. Their views were essentially identical, but Rocky came across as far more polished and competent. Previous to that debate, I favored Stein (never heard of the Justice Party), but not now. Rocky is my man.

I knew Johnson would be there, and he should be. He won that debate, in my view, even though he's not my first choice.

I've been enjoying RT more and more over the years.

RT is government-funded, so there may some gain for the Russian govt. by slightly aiding political fragmentation in the US. Nevertheless, if that is Russia's self-interest, it benefits the 3rd party candidates, and arguably for the US in the longer run.

I assume it may be that the Green Party has a more organized base and cadre that was able to get out the vote. The Justice Party may not be much more than a vehicle to put Rocky on the ballot -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Justice_Pa ... _States%29.

You're almost certainly right. He should join the Green Party (I'm not seeing anything that I think differs from the Green Party).

If you missed the first one, Ralph Nader will be moderating another debate among the mathematically potential presidential candidates on November 4. Once again, Romney-Obama have declined to attend.

I wish I could have had the opportunity to vote for Upton Sinclair. Major mancrush (maybe not when he was old enough to be visited by Ralph Nader, who's also on the list)
