It's been ten years, for sure, if not more. I think you won't deny that something like that is pure ad hominem, does not and can not contribute anything positive to the conversation.

but all the same, have a look at the recent new forum threads just on the first page alone, and then take note of who are the OPs of such threads.

As for the poster in question, he/she/it self-identifies as a rat.
Rats and fecal slime are both indigenous inhabitants of sewers.
Doubtlessly, within their unexalted, shared environment, they each serve some form of ecological function.

Perhaps you should set your highly subjective aesthetics aside for a moment, Duk, ...and just embrace the science of it.
