At 8 weeks we had to keep him outside up until right before he fell asleep because if we let him in while he was wide-awake he would run straight through our legs and knock something over. Anything soft that he could pick up was liable to be thrown in every direction within 10 minutes and he would try to wrestle you down to the ground, despite being a small fraction of my weight. Though Guiness was also much bigger than this guy is. At 8 weeks he was the biggest of the litter and while neither of his parents weighed more than 80 lbs. Guiness has grown up to weigh 110 lbs and is a lot taller and bulkier than his parents were. This puppy on the other hand is never supposed to exceed 70 and that's at the high end of the range.

On a side note we have over 3 inches of snow here in Bellingham Washington, not much for some of you people, but quite a bit for a town on the sound :)

Instead we've been freezing bloody cold but dry, followed by wet at about 30 degrees higher. Temperature supposed to be in the 60's again today, snow at the weekend?

Well sounds good except the think part. Though I guess thinking is the less lazy version of knowing.

Second, it's UCA's birthday? Happy B-day!

Last time we had more than two inches in Atlanta I believe it was '93. We actually had some kind of big storm come in that year. My parents called it a blizzard. I'm not sure if it actually was or if they were exagerating.

That's Atlanta's problem. In 4 years of high school it only snowed enough here to stick once and even then it wasn't enough to cancel school (which is pretty easy to do in Atlanta when it comes to cold), yet there were plenty of days where it was more than cold enough to snow even in the warmest hours but never did.

Well some of them are good. Let's just say that there's a reason that some of Guiness's nicknames include "Monster", "El Loco Destructo"*, and "destructus maximus".

*this one comes from our gardener.

I only like the cold when it's also snowing. Otherwise, I'll take 100 degrees over 30.

Is it a bad thing? I'm really not trying for anything, I just like to comment on what people say and/or do.

The one good thing about the cold is that it slows down the aging process. We met a guy in Alaska, looked like he was 23 in reality he was almost 60.
