I'll admit that I'm not overly familiar with the inner workings of Eastern Germany, but from what I can see the things he's mentioned are real. Many of the people involved with them are undoubtedly still alive and I don't think it's such a huge stretch to think that some of them have internet access. People do shit over the course of their lives...

Basically what I'm hearing is that he says he was an officer of some kind in Eastern Germany. Saxi could be making up his involvement but I'm not sure why he would. Believe it or not, the two of us got along pretty well.
