quote for truth, it could also mean quit f*ck*ng talking but there is usually some clue if its the second one or the first. Most of the time here i think its quote for truth to avoid confusion

'Quote for truth'
It means you agree with the quoted text. Although this time I was just doing it to get that vile image off of the last page as quickly as possible...

EDIT: If somebody doesn't get a mod-warning for re-posting that image, then I'll eat my hat.

The images have been removed and warnings sent to the offenders. Sorry I didn't see the first time it was posted or I would have gotten rid of it earlier.

i wanna talk about Rommel for a sec. he was the German general right? i almost 100% sure he is but for some reason im having second thoughts and thinking hes a British general. Anyway, if he was German, why did they have him in Africa? I mean out of the eastern front, western front, and uh..african front i guess. the african one was the least important Hitler could have used him alot more on one the the other fronts so why was he in Africa if he was one of the greates generals of all time.

Yeah, Rommel was nicknamed the "Desert Fox". He was actually doing pretty well until the British prevented him from taking the Suez Canal at the battle of El Alamein.

well, uh, thanks but that doesnt really answer my question. Now, I only know the basics about WWII but the fact that he did great until the brits stopped him at El Alamein that kinda says to me Rommel did great until the Brits actually started trying to stop him from getting to the Suez.

Rommel was a tank commander who specialized in the massive mobilization of tank divisions. Obviously, he was better suited the Egypt with the flat desert terrain with relatively fewer obstructions. And the British were trying to stop him, but they didn't have the material or the manpower to slow his advance much.

They actually defeated him at the second battle of El Alamein. And throughout the battle crippled his resources and he was never sent any form of reinforcements from Hitler, which is another reason why his tanks, although superiour to the allied ones failed. I think it was the English, Canadian and Australian under Monty against Germany and Italy under Rommell

Rommel literally wrote the book on combined-arms (infantry, tanks, artillery and planes) tactics. Patton took that work further. The modern army owes a lot to these two generals.

Slightly off topic, Anyone ever wonder about WWII scale battles but with current to near-future (within twenty years) military gear? Imagine the battles of the Coral Sea, Midway and Leyte Gulf with jets and nuclear super-carriers. The Battle of Britain with Tornados, Rafaels and MiGs. D-Day with LCACs and Blackhawks and finally the Battle of the Bulge with A-10s and Abrams. Any takers?

It was a lovely lady in her altogether emptying the contents of her delightful tummy onto a respectable gentleman's private parts. They were both having a spiffing time.
