Here is a villanelle in correct form... Took me about 3-4 minute to write...

One year ago today
Shots rang all around
And there is nothing more to say

Sweet fragrance fell away
As did all the sound
One year ago today

The children, they did play
In the air and on the ground
And there is nothing more to say

Everyone thought all okay
They never felt the pound
One year ago today

The carnage they did lay
Their bodies all were browned
And there is nothing more to say

I alone would stay
I would never fall down
One year ago today
And there is nothing more to say

Go hang your head in shame.
Haiku's just weren't enough?
This post is really lame.

Your first thread received acclaim.
Folks wrote a lot of stuff!
Go hang your head in shame.

But you ask for more of same.
19 lines I have to bluff?
This post is really lame.

For you now I have disdain.
With your chest you try to puff.
Go hang your head in shame.

I'll agree it's pretty rough.
