Uh... the votes aren't reset every time you change the poll. I'm pretty this contest is rigged for the second item.

That's not a perfect system. There are definitely people who forget to come back. Can you even think of 50 posters? I can't.

Yes, saxitoxin is a fair ruler with free elections in this democratic thread.

Um, there's no Greek dog in that picture of the Greek capitol. Did the Greek protest dog die? Was he killed by the government? Was he not getting his social welfare from the Greek state?

Probably not. Greeks like to take a break from 1 PM to 3 PM (they eat and then take a nap). My grandfather, who came from Greece to the US when he was 16, says that all the hardworking Greeks came to the United States.

Is the air bad? They all seem to be wearing respirators.

Do Greeks fart a lot?

Greeks do pass gas in copious amounts. I'm not sure that is why they are wearing respirators. I think that has to do with the extremely poor air quality of Athens due to air pollution (think of Los Angeles with just a few more brown people).

This is what my grandfather thinks. From what I understand, the Greek economy failed because people and companies don't pay the taxes they are supposed to pay and because of state pensions. But that's Mr. Changsha's expertise.

Well...the greek economy? I have some understanding (and views) on both political and economic concepts, but remember I live in something of a news-free environment. Of course I could read newspapers online etc etc but ever since the conservatives kicked those lying little shits out of power I have basically felt that the world is all fine again (yep...pretty narrow, uk, china, us, eu), or at least a whole lot better, and promptly turned my mind off current events for the first time in about ten years.

I would suppose, however, that if a brain drain was serious and heavy enough, and new immigrants of equal quality were not found, that it is possible that a country couldn't produce enough actual contributors to the public purse. But it is more likely to be a case of ridiculous government spending linked to tax avoidance, overly-strong unions depressing growth, an unrealistic and self-delusional body politic and media etc etc.

Fair point.

Can someone phone-in a bomb threat to the Hungarian Parliament? I know a photographer in Budapest who is available on short notice.

I'd do it myself but I'm like 2 bomb threats away from getting deported.
