Insomnia Red - Do you believe her story?

GD thread: http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=149752

I really think we should keep her 'goodbye' thread clean, so I was hoping we could switch the discussion over here.

Personally, I think some of those BPB skeptics are starting to make sense.

She's an actress with an IMDb page, who was brutally assaulted. Shouldn't there be something on the internet about it?

I don't believe it. I think she is going away for awhile, possibly to a mental institution to deal with some problems. (although this is all hearsay). Her story of going off to die, and the hospital changing the day they were picking her up is just retarded. I hate to sound like a dick, but if this is a true story, she should sell the movie rights to insure her family is well off for the rest of their lives.

And i have seen this before on other forums. The global mod on one board claimed an attack, and said he was his girlfriend logging in to update people on his condition. That was the first sign, a girlfriend when you run an internet forum on pro wrestling! I called BS there, and everyone ganged up on me until he came clean and admitted it was a hoax. The sad thing was no one was even angry. I quit the board, and haven't been back.

Oh i clearly dont believe it....I have heard 3 different reasons as to why she is 'leaving cc'
She is clearly not all there. None of the stories match....though they sound like thrilling tales

there's a very simple solution to all this. take a picture of herself in the hospital bed or wherever they're putting her into a coma and post it here. or even better, a 30 second video recording in the hospital with the doctor confirming this.

and don't tell me that's impossible to accomplish. if the doctors allow you to use a laptop/smartphone to access the internet and spend time on live chat then they would surely allow you to take a picture or make a video. heck they surely wouldn't deny a dying woman's last wish. ;)

so until i see proof i agree this is all a cry for attention or some weird act of boredom coming from a mentally deranged person.

cheers.

My gut reaction is to believe her, but I can be too trusting.

One thing, though - she said she's going to be in the new Spider Man movie. I'm surprised that news of what happened to her hasn't been posted online somewhere.

you can post personal info about yourself and once that is said i believe it is assumed that it has been made public as theoretically one could just link to the post and say read this. But that is only my interpretation to the rule and i believe one that makes the most sense for this site

Sorry... but doubting the reality isn't something that concerns me
and I have no need to know. I like somn and wish her well.

I realize this is the internets and it is important for people to jump to
conclusions and think the worst. To all those who felt a need to fuck up
her goodbye thread? May the pubic lice of a thousand crack whores infest
your crotch.

If she turned out to be an octogenarian pensioner being sent to a care center
with no web access... or even that she is a he. Ha Ha, good one eh? But even
then it really is no biggy to me. If she turns out to be Tony Blair or Opra Winfrey
let me know ok?

I was being honest. I rarely venture out of the off-topics forum. I've been that way pretty much since I joined. So yeah, I had no idea that she was leaving (for reasons stated or not). Plus, I'm not one to spam up going away threads.

To say she's BSing based on her simply being an actress isn't fair. Yes, she has an IMDb page, but look at the entries. She only has roles listed that don't have names, meaning she plays extremely minor parts. Like "come in, do her scene, then leave" type stuff. No media outlet is going to give a shit about someone like that.

As far as my opinion, I don't know all the details surrounding this, so I dont have one yet. I'm going to keep reading and if I care enough to share my opinion, then I'll give it.

not sure whether to believe it or not

if she's making up the story it really doesn't affect my life so i don't have the need to mock or insult her. I've done worse things in my life than lie on an internet message board so I'm not going to get self-righteous and say she's a bad person and/or use it as a forum to show how cool, anti-establishment, and witty i am like owenshooter or his buddies

im just assuming she is telling the truth; i don't need anyone to post a video of her in her hospital room as evidence (as requested by somebody on the other thread)- that's a pretty sick suggestion and its really none of your business.

if there's a possibility she's telling the truth, the decent thing to do is to keep any doubts to yourself because you could be dancing on the grave of a dead person...... but im sure that would be cool, hip, and rebellious so why not!!!!

The only thing I wish to comment on is what it means to be a background actor (extra) in LA/NY. Your job is to stand in the back of the scene, react accordingly to the actors around you, and not draw attention to yourself.

Many shows use the same background actors over and over again. This does not make you a cast member or a series regular. It's just a decent way for an actor to make their rent.

It's basically the same deal in movies, you're there to flesh out a crowd scene. You don't have any lines and if you're really lucky, you may see your face for a split second. This will be terribly impressive to your civilian friends.

I say all that to say no, being a background actor will not automatically land you in the news if something bad happens to you.

but being beaten usually lands you in the police blotter. And saying he only spent two days in jail, yet she is going to die from her injuries is utter bullshit. No way has he already gone to trial, and this would become a murder case.

I concur that there are holes in the story. All I'm pointing out is that IR was not a name actor and that her profession alone would not have made this news. Certainly though, people who are not famous make the news every day for being the victim or perpetrator of heinous acts.
