Interesting side note....
When I started the second reply (the second message above that still had my signature after s.xkitten flamed it), I opened my profile settings in another tab, selected NOT to use my sig, then submitted before continuing the message.
I submitted a profile change to eliminate my signature before I submitted a message I had begun before that still wound up having my signature.
I wonder if I should file this as a bug report?
