I hate New York, although there are many new yorkers I like.

I hate boston, although there might be a few new englanders I don't mind.

But as a Redskins fan, I hate the G-Men.

My gut feeling: Pats 34, Giants 27

Giants are the only team capable of beating the patriots. I respect the Patriots team, they really deserve the win, but I hope they don't get it :P my prediction Pats - 31 Giants -21

I suspect if either team scores 35 points they'll win it,
and the Pats need more than 24 to have a chance.
but New England will have it tough reaching 24.

In that case, I'm taking New England 31-20. Have you seen that Wilfork fella?

If the Giants contain Brady, it'll be over fast. The Pats ground game is pretty weak and their D isn't what it was in years past.

Pats win (albeit only by 3 or 6... still a win).

Thereby cementing Tom Brady as the bet Quarterback ever.

Tom Brady is already one of the best ever to play the position.

The Pat's passing game is not as vertical as it was the last time these teams met in a Super Bowl and that may save Brady from the Giants' sack attack. He'll likely be getting rid of the ball quicker this time around.

IF the Giants have early success with the ground game the Pats may be in trouble and equally if NE sustains a steady possession passing attack... this will be a great game.

Neither team's defenses rank very high for the season, but both have been taking care of business in the post season. NY did not allow a single 3rd down conversion in the NFC Championship and NE batted away a game winning TD toss by Flacco in the final seconds of the AFC Championship prior to the missed FG that would have forced OT.

Brady and Montana are just good system QB's. Guys like Young, Favre, Elway, Marino could go to any team and let it lose and be great.

There is definitely an elite group of QBs defined by how well they fit into their team's offense and the success they achieved. I think Brady and Montana would have done well anywhere they landed in the NFL... given the chance to play.

Eli Manning is a bit like Joe Montana in his elusiveness to extend plays and hit an open receiver, while Tom Brady is smart, consistent and close to being an extra coach on the field, much like Eli's older brother. Both these QBs have those intangible qualities that go beyond statistics in their competitive nature and attitude that gives them the confidence to believe that no game is out of reach. They both expect to win... every time.

If Peyton Manning had his brother's luck --Eli must eat Four Leaf Clover Salads and sleep on a mattress stuffed with Rabbit's Feet-- he'd be wearing Championship rings on both hands.

I predict I will get exceptionally drunk.

I also predict the wing experiment I'm trying will be the best wings anyone has ever had.

I'll be okay if none of my predictions come true, but I suspect I'll get at least half-way on both.

2nd Down and 98 yards to go from the New England 2 yard line
and they drive the distance to take the halftime lead 10-9.

Kind of a 4th Quarter preview.

17-21 Final
